About the community

Comfortably nestled into the forested hills of Western Connecticut, The Hearth at Southbury offers multiple choices of care and living options for seniors. We’re managed by The Hearth, a people-centered senior living company with a 25-year tradition of creating communities where seniors truly thrive. Our colonial Georgian architectural style complements classic New England interiors throughout common areas, like our fireplace-warmed library, bustling pub, and “country kitchen” private dining rooms. All of our staff — maintenance, management, and more — receive the same customized “Care Connect” training when hired, providing each associate with the tools to deliver an exceptional experience within our communities. The Hearth At Southbury

The times I have been there, the pace is clean and the staff are friendly. During the Covid-19 pandemic, they did a good job with keeping the residents safe. Overall, they are very good with keeping our family informed of my sisters care, which was important to us. They do seem to have a lot of activities available and my sister seems to enjoy them.
