They have some very positive pluses: I have a full kitchen and a washer/dryer in my apartment. I don't know how I would function if I did not have those two items. On the negative side: there's no garbage disposal or dishwasher, although some of the apartments have those at an extra cost. I'm just doing the best I can within the parameters of my budget. My apartment is roomy and cheerful. And they shampooed the carpets, completely repainted, and had it all ready for me when I moved in. Maintenance is quite slow though. And there seems to be some short-staffing issues in several departments. However, when I imagine how little their profit margin must be, that's understandable. And my rent did not go up. So I think they're doing the best they can with what they have to deal with.... Read more

Our tour experience

Our family had an in person tour and we absolutely loved The Forum, and we were so disappointed when our loved one wasn't going to be able to move there because of how progressive her health was at the time. It is so nice with great big accommodations. Everything was just fabulous we would highly highly recommend this community to others. There were tons of activities, our loved one even on the tour participated in the exercise class. The Forum just feels like home.

Our Tour Experience

There were certain aspects that were good. I liked their accessibility to different things. My loved one also knew people that lived there already. But the facility is a bit dated. They did a great job on follow-up even after we selected a place. They would call me on a regular basis to check up.

I would recommend

We chose The Forum at Town Center because of the size of the apartments as well as the amenities that are provided within the apartments and the price was good. My dad said the food is ok, but he doesn't not rave about it. The staff members are very aware and attentive to each residents needs. I would recommend them to others who are looking.

my review of The Forum at Town Center

We did a virtual tour with the community. It was very nice and the staff was friendly, they answered all of our questions and tried to make the virtual tour as good as it can be. The community did fit our needs due to the pricing

A Wonderful Place to Stay? No!

Due to the bug I would say not to come to this community. They've cut down on activities that there is hardly anything for us to do. The food isn't good. I'm sorry I'm here. They are allowing us to eat in the dining room again. The room is too small for me, and has a tiny kitchenette.

Family feel

Although established years ago, The Forum at Town Center gives a person that "family feel" when entering the community. It is a "love worn" community with lots of heart, soul and smiles. The residents and staff are very friendly and helpful, and it's because of the residents, folks apsire to work here. The community hosts both Independent Living (IL) and Assisted Living (AL). Normally a very social and active community, this has halted a bit because of our world pandemic. Slowly, events and activities are beginning to surface, but with new rules, as they wish to remain a Covid-free community and want to continue to keep their residents and staff safe. So much love and compassion in this community. Check them out for yourself.

I was treated like a princess

My first experience with a rehab center was not good, to say the least. So when I again needed rehab I chose The Forum at Clackamas Town Center. I'm so glad I did. it was night and day from the previous place I had stayed. I was treated like a princess from day one to my last day there. They actually cared for me and taught me how to walk post surgery. I highly recommend The Forum at Clackamas Town Center for physical rehab.

This is a beautiful complex with many amenities for our parents to participate in. There's also on-site support from Adventist Home Health should my parents need a bit more but aren't ready for assisted living.

A Close Community

On the tour I saw a community that definitely was a little more run down looking. I did like it better for being closer to me. I did notice the way it set up require more walking from place to place. That would have been more difficult for my mom.

Its okay...

I miss being able to cook. The food that they provide here is okay, but I do not get a lot of choices. I have my own seasonings that I will add. The staff, for the most part, is very friendly.
