I would tell others that the staff are very attentive and always quick to get back to me if I need anything. They have been very helpful and supportive. They are great to work with and I would highly recommend Royalton Place to others.

We had a good tour experience with Royalton Place. My loved one needed a community that was more active. But that was to be expected since this is for residents who need more care.
We're very happy with Royalton Place. The staff are all very personable and friendly, so my mom feels like they know who she is and she's not just a number. They're very on top of her care. If she has to go to the hospital, they call me immediately. I feel secure in the knowledge that they're taking good care of her. The only thing my mom complains about is sometimes the food is lackluster.
There employees go the extra mile. A little extra clean up and are super helpful.

We chose Royalton Place because of the convenient location, the layout of the facility, and just the overall look of it. The staff were all super friendly as well. We looked at many other places and we would not have put our loved one anywhere but here. I do not see many activities going on when I go to visit. Yesterday was one of the first times I saw an organized activities going on in the memory care unit. I do appreciate the oversight that they provide, but they were slow to get me the service care plan. I feel that I have to do a lot of nagging to get things done. As with any facility, you just have to pay attention to what is going on. Overall I would recommend them to others looking.

Royalton Place was terrible. They kept talking about how we wouldn't need to visit mom once they were taking care of her. Talked with residents who complained of falls and long times waiting for help. Many residents with visible injuries. The salesperson turned white as a sheet when I mentioned my RN son would be quite involved with mom's care. Lots of red flags there.
When it comes to the overall value for money we do think it is worth it with everything they have to offer. We really appreciate all the time and effort they put into the different activities. There have a beautiful rose garden, they have live music every Tuesday, and they do different outings so the activities are really cool. Our loved one is not the biggest fan of the meals, he says it is pretty bland and tasteless. However based on our experience so far we would recommend the Royalton Place to other families.

Overall, we had a good experience. The facility was always very clean. The hands on staff were very friendly. They were understaffed and some of them inexperienced, but they did try their best. The administrative staff was dismissive. As a whole, they just didn't have their act together. I didn't trust mom being there by herself and started to feel like I should have just kept her at home. We ended up bringing hospice care in. They had a flea outbreak, but did let us know. We also heard that there was a bed bug outbreak on the other side. When I asked the staff about it, I was told it was being handled and nothing else. I'm not sure if I would recommend them to friends and family.

This was a nice community. The rooms were smaller than we wanted.
I had an experience before this; we put my mother-in-law in Royalton Place for a time period. So, when it came time for my mom we moved her in, and I'd recommend them. Communication between the community and our family has been pretty good. There are two girls who usually call me; [name removed] an aide and their leader. They'll contact me if there's a problem. Some of the amenities offered here at Royalton Place include hair & nail treatments, a dining hall, outings, and occasional entertainment guests.

Overall Royalton Place is a really nice place, compared to other communities I have seen. My only reservations I have is having to remind the staff about the cleaning of the room and linens for my loved one's room. By contract this is supposed to be done on a specific day weekly. I believe the Administration needs to change how they administer the staff under them, to make sure they don't miss housekeeping duties. For the most part everyone on the staff is very friendly.

Royalton Place had more of an urban feel to it. The tour was informative and nice but it just did not have the feel that we were looking for.
Royalton Place is really good. We're really happy with them. It's a very caring place. The staff is great, and they seem to be adequately staffed. The décor is very nice, and the facility always seems to be very clean. So far so good - I have no complaints whatsoever. And my loved one is settling in and happy there!

We got a good overall feeling about Royalton Place from the moment we walked in for our tour. It is a smaller facility, the marketing staff and everyone we met were friendly, and the rooms are a good size. It is a great value for the money and they are very competitive for the area. There are not many activities that my father is interested in, but they do have a lot provided. What really sticks out to us after being here for a few months now iis the staff, they are super caring and friendly.

Every activity that my loved one does she likes but there are not many outside activities for the residents. I would say to go have a look at this community. My loved one is enjoying it and did not expect to. She was not willing to go initially but now she is enjoying it and even making friends. The staff have all been great for me and my loved one.

Not the right location.
The staff are great and they really care about the residents. The memory care area only had one activity that I am aware of.

A Place for Mom has scored Royalton Place 9.4 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
