The activities staff try's hard to keep those who are able, active and involved in activities throughout the day. If a resident needs to rest or take a nap, they understand. The staff is well trained in working with dementia residents and know how to redirect and calm a situation if need be without embarrassing the resident. I feel my father is safe and well cared for. \nMy only issue has been communicating to my siblings and I when he needs more supplies; or clothing, in his case, has become too small. Overall the facility is clean, although his bathroom could use a little more attention. He seems to like the food. They have activities during the week, but not during evenings / weekends.
