We chose Sunrise of North Wales because it was very convenient for us. Also out of the 5 or 6 places I was considering, they were at the top based on my general first impression of the place when I toured it and met with the staff. They were and have been very accommodating and attentive - they had answers to all of my questions. I just left and felt comfortable knowing this is where she would be staying. I would for sure recommend them to others.... Read more

Sunrise of North Wales was okay. I got bad vibes initially when we arrived. Cleanliness really wasn't there. And it just wasn't the right fit for my loved one - it was too big of a facility.

I only visited 3 that were in my price range, I liked this best. Warm and cozy
Our family had an in person tour and we did really like the Sunrise community, it was a good experience
When our loved one first moved in the quality of the meals were extremely high - however they recently have been taken over by someone else and the meals now are bad compared to what they used to be. That could be one big significance they could work to improve on. When our loved done asks for assistance or has a request it is very hit or miss - it is either taken care of right away for it never happens. The residents do have a call button and the response times during the day are pretty reasonable but at night time it is pretty bad and we feel that is not appropriate. Our loved one days say she is extremely happy with the physical therapy.
Sunrise was one of our top choices and we were on a waiting list. I got a call saying that they heard we were interested in the facility even though we had already toured twice. They had no record of us being there and we were not on a waiting list. We got to eat a meal and it was hotdogs for lunch, when they brought it out it was just a plain hotdog with no condiments or anything so we were not too impressed with the food. The staff were all super nice and the environment was pleasant.
If you have a loved one that needs care, please send them to Sunrise of North Wales. The staff are caring, and willing to give information to the resident's responsible party. The food has been very good for the residents.
I had an amazing tour with Sunrise. The person showing me around knew all of the residents by name. It was clean and all the staff were nice and caring. I would have put my mother in here without a doubt, but the location was the only downfall.
This is a nice community four your loved one. My mother overall likes it and has made a lot of friends and met some very friendly people. They have activities like bingo, arts and crafts and outings for the residents to stay busy and have something to do.
The staff is very good and they know who you are when you walk
We did a virtual tour with Sunrise which is the only reason I gave them a 4 just due to those limitations. They did a great job and were good with their follow up with us. They seemed genuinely interested in my mother and it was a good experience.
The friendliness of the staff would be a five plus, they are so responsive and are there anytime our loved ones needs their help. He does say sometimes the food is bland, but they have a wide variety of options to choose from and it is prepared well. He is very happy there.
We chose this facility because at the time the woman who gave us the tour knew every bodies name and interacted with all the residents. The new director is not as personal and we have not been as happy with him as we were with the previous director. The room sizes are very nice. The food has not been as good since the corona-virus. They make the meals too spicy for the elderly. In the beginning, my parents really enjoyed the food though. My favorite part about this community has been the staff members, they are very pleasant to be around. Also [name removed] at the front desk is wonderful, she is bubbly and a genuinely happy person. They physical therapist [name removed] goes out of his way for people. He stayed after hours and helped my dad with his new phone. You can tell they really care about the residents. I would for the most part recommend Kyffin Grove.
We chose this community because the ratings, the locations, and the availability of a nice one bedroom apartment. The apartment sizes are very generous. He has a bedroom, large bathroom, kitchenette area, and very ample sitting room. His apartment is also on the first floor which is nice since he is not mobile. He said that the dining room has been closed since COVID, so they have limited choices on food. I had lunch when we moved him in and I thought it was very good. My favorite part about this community would be the communication, they are very good at communicating with friends and families. I am personally pleased. I would recommend Kyffin Grove.
Seems like a very nice place. However I think I like the memory care only options where they are all on the same level and have more access to the outdoor.
Of the places I visited I think Kyffin Grove is a good choice. The outdoor space is nice. I have eaten there a few times and the food is good. The staff are a mixed bag, most are very nice. The director(name removed) is responsive to any issues I have brought to him. Nothing is perfect but they are working on things. The majority of the staff are very caring.
Kyfffin Grove is a great place. Staff are kind and accommodating. The Director is available and open to feedback from residents. The social worker is fantastic. The food was the best variety of anywhere we visited. My mother is very happy here.
I really liked this facility. The staff greeted all residents by name and many residents were out in the common areas and not hanging out in their rooms. The PT staff was very friendly and helpful when we spoke. Wish the same facility exited in Maryland closer to us in Annpolis!
We have had a great experience at Kyffin Grove with our Mom. I know some have had issues, but they seem to have ironed out some staffing problems and just did a lot of redecorating so it looks great. Any time we've had a problem, it has been addressed promptly. Overall, we're very happy.
