I have been very happy with Sugar Fork Crossing. Everyone on the staff is very friendly and helpful. I would say that I'm most impressed with the communication. Whenever I have a question, someone will always get back to me immediately. Any issues that I've encountered have also been resolved immediately. I would highly recommend this place to others.

Review
The food is pretty good nice options and love that they can have a choice of pop.
The actives are a nice change from the normal bingo actives you have everywhere else.
The care partners and staff are amazing. So are the front desk ladies always super helpful. The kitchen staff is decent.
Although their new administer is very questionable who I haven't been a big fan of. But the DON [name removed] has always been a pleasure to talk to.

The family should stay involved. Build a relationship with the staff. They need to see that you are a serious family and that you're not just dropping your loved one off! The staff overall are great. However, the daytime staff often is extremely different from the overnight staff. Stay connected! Housekeeping seems to be good. Again, if something needs to be done that is taking too long, stay on them! The communication with the family is really what you make it. Don't let them get away with stuff. Stay in constant communication with the facility leadership! The move-in process was super easy. The meals seem to be fine. Suggestions for improvement might be adequate overnight staffing. Keep in mind that seems to be an industry challenge. We wish there was more than 1 cable package to pick from. I would highly recommend this facility. It's the nicest quality place in town!

Wonderful Experience
I looked at many memory care facilities in Fishers, Noblesville, and Anderson. Sugar Fork Crossing had the best layout that would not be confusing for my dad. The facility is new, the staff is great, and so is the food.

Very pleased
Several things stood out to me about this facility. The Memory Care section was so bright, open, and pretty. I really liked the whole set-up of the unit. All of the residents seemed to be interacting with each other. The staff was keeping them busy with activities. The place always seems to be clean.
The only aspect that was better at our previous facility was the payment system. They had their own website to submit payments, which was much easier. This facility uses a public rent payment site, which I just don't like as well. Overall, I'm very pleased with this facility!

Great facility, clean, friendly staff very accommodating
Mostly mom seems happy and they have provide consistent care including medical and physical therapy. Mom is in a much better place than when we were trying to let her remain at home with caregivers being there 5 hours a day. I have a daughter in Kokomo who has visited the facility and my brother [name removed] who lives in Plano, Texas helped mom move in. Both said that the facility was clean, they seemed adequately staffed and the staff was friendly and helpful. I talk to mom every other week and she doesn't complain about Sugar Fork. From my experience, I would recommend Sugar Fork Crossing.

Overall pleased with our experience
We chose Sugar Fork Crossing because it was more attractive and it had nice open spaces for activities and a courtyard as well. The facility is all one level so that makes things easy to navigate. Everything has been pretty good except for some of the medication dispensing - it seems like things get lost in translation sometimes. Overall I would recommend Sugar Fork Crossing to others.

Our tour experience
Our family was able to do an in person tour and we liked the location because it was just a few minutes away from our loved ones home. However, when we walked up to the community the first set of doors opened up like a grocery store, then we assumed the second set of entrance doors would be locked but that was not the case. The lobby seemed deserted and there was not one person up on the front desk to sign you in. We could of wondered throughout the entire facility by ourselves without being noticed. Also, we aren't sure if the lady we met with to give us the tour was new to the place, but she was very flustered and unprepared. There was just no sense of security and all of the doors were closed off.

I would tell others to check it out. The new people and the staff answers all my questions. They try and respond in twenty-four hours. The community is very clean. They are pretty friendly to the families.

Great fit for our family
We chose Sugar Fork Crossing mainly because of the location, it is close to us and I wanted her close so that we could visit her often. I also knew she needed memory care and they had a good program here. The facility when we visited it was immaculate. We walked all the way around inside and out and it is just wonderful. They go above and beyond for their staff members and the families as well so that we are still able to visit them. I would absolutely recommend to others looking.

We have been extremely happy with the community, every time we are able to visit it is sparkling clean. The staff members are extremely friendly and really do seem to care about the residents. The care services are wonderful, our loved one has been kept healthy during this time and the value is excellent.
