Several things stood out to me about this facility. The Memory Care section was so bright, open, and pretty. I really liked the whole set-up of the unit. All of the residents seemed to be interacting with each other. The staff was keeping them busy with activities. The place always seems to be clean. The only aspect that was better at our previous facility was the payment system. They had their own website to submit payments, which was much easier. This facility uses a public rent payment site, which I just don't like as well. Overall, I'm very pleased with this facility!... Read more

March 14, 2023Thank you for taking the time to write a wonderful review of our community! Mostly mom seems happy and they have provide consistent care including medical and physical therapy. Mom is in a much better place than when we were trying to let her remain at home with caregivers being there 5 hours a day. I have a daughter in Kokomo who has visited the facility and my brother [name removed] who lives in Plano, Texas helped mom move in. Both said that the facility was clean, they seemed adequately staffed and the staff was friendly and helpful. I talk to mom every other week and she doesn't complain about Sugar Fork. From my experience, I would recommend Sugar Fork Crossing.

February 21, 2023We're so happy that your mom is happy at Sugar Fork Crossing :) Thank you for your kind words and taking the time to write us a review here.
We chose Sugar Fork Crossing because it was more attractive and it had nice open spaces for activities and a courtyard as well. The facility is all one level so that makes things easy to navigate. Everything has been pretty good except for some of the medication dispensing - it seems like things get lost in translation sometimes. Overall I would recommend Sugar Fork Crossing to others.

May 4, 2023Thank you for your kind review and your recommendation!
Our family was able to do an in person tour and we liked the location because it was just a few minutes away from our loved ones home. However, when we walked up to the community the first set of doors opened up like a grocery store, then we assumed the second set of entrance doors would be locked but that was not the case. The lobby seemed deserted and there was not one person up on the front desk to sign you in. We could of wondered throughout the entire facility by ourselves without being noticed. Also, we aren't sure if the lady we met with to give us the tour was new to the place, but she was very flustered and unprepared. There was just no sense of security and all of the doors were closed off.
I would tell others to check it out. The new people and the staff answers all my questions. They try and respond in twenty-four hours. The community is very clean. They are pretty friendly to the families.

February 10, 2023Thank you for your review on our community!
We chose Sugar Fork Crossing mainly because of the location, it is close to us and I wanted her close so that we could visit her often. I also knew she needed memory care and they had a good program here. The facility when we visited it was immaculate. We walked all the way around inside and out and it is just wonderful. They go above and beyond for their staff members and the families as well so that we are still able to visit them. I would absolutely recommend to others looking.

We were very impressed with the facility--it was so beautiful! Also, our guide [name removed] was amazing. He met us at 7 PM and gave us Zoom tours of the Memory Care. He went above and beyond our expectations and answered all of our questions. We would feel totally at ease bringing our Mom here.

A Place for Mom has scored Sugar Fork Crossing 9.1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
