Love this place

Best Staff Ever
Words can never express my gratitude to storypoint and their staff. I have lived in independent living for almost 8 years. The food is outstanding, our building always smell great and the kindness of the residents and staff is the BEST. Shout out to the housekeeping team!

Saved my life!

A Place for DAD...AMAZING!
StoryPoint Rockford was worth every penny! My dad thrived in this community. He developed so many friendships with both residents and staff members. The staff knew him as a person and not just another resident. Activities kept him busy - which he loved. The food was fantastic and I loved that he had a table with "his guys". When his health started to decline the support from the onsite Laurus care staff allowed him to stay in his apartment and provided and treated him with dignity and respect. I can say without a doubt that this facility gave us 6 years with our father that we would not have had without him moving there. Thank you to the staff and friends of StoryPoint Rockford!

A great place for your loved one. The staff is amazing!
The staff are awesome. The Lauri's Health Care Company they use has already raised rates. He went in August of 2023. I think they should lock in for at least a year.
I would recommend Storypoint Rockford to others looking.

Story point a friendly place
What we like the most about the StoryPoint Rockford is that the staff really does try their best to work with us on most things, but their follow up has not been the best. However, based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

Amazing
I can't begin to tell you how much my life has changed since moving to StoryPoint. I now feel safe in this amazing community. It is clean, the people are friendly and there is so much to do. I also love the library where I spend a lot of time. StoryPoint is the best and I call it home.

A Place to Treasure Precious Memories
From the moment my dad, brother and I walked through the doors of StoryPoint, we were warmly greeted by the staff and shown around by [name removed](who is AWESOME!). Within the first 60 seconds, it was evident that StoryPoint genuinely cares for the residents. The friendly atmosphere and the beautiful surroundings instantly put us at ease and we instantly knew this was the place for my dad.
My dad's transition to StoryPoint was seamless at a time when we really needed help, and I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the support and care he has received since moving in. Living with Alzheimer's, my dad will need memory care in the near future. StoryPoint has made a significant difference in his life and mine by making the most of the moments that we have in a way that I wouldn't know how. I wholeheartedly recommend StoryPoint to anyone searching for a place where their loved ones can flourish during their retirement years and am forever grateful to [name removed] and the rest of the team.

Great experience
My father has been a resident for a few years and we have been really happy with our experience. The staff are all friendly and caring and really care about the residents. They have been very accommodating with food requests as my dads Heath and needs have changed. He loves the activities and events that they hold for the residents. StoryPoint, people over money.
My father-in-law was put in the memory care to start which is also the most expensive. They found that as time went on he should be in a lower level of care and suggested that to us. Of course, the less care the less costs. It made me feel like they cared about the patient and not just the money. That bought a great deal of trust with us. He is now in secured care and is much happier. They keep in contact on a regular basis and provide updates when needed. They even prevented my father-in-law from an online scam. StoryPoint provided transportation to the VA which was a huge selling point for us. We are very happy with Storypoint. They have been a Godsend.

Peace of mind for your loved one.
My MIL has lived there for the past year with her companion. From day one, the friendly and thoughtfulness of the entire community was more than we could have imagined.
The rooms are large and services and amenities are exceptional. How nice it is to just be able to walk down a hall and get your hair done at the salon. [name removed] does an amazing job!!

Weekly visits make my day
I visit StoryPoint on weekends with my therapy dog, Jasmine. The facility is immaculate and bright. The staff show a great deal of passion for the residents and are incredibly friendly and caring. The residents are a family and are very supportive of each other. If my parents lived in this area, I would definitely consider StoryPoint.
