Speech therapy services are provided by trained and certified speech-pathologists. A visiting nurse is available to all residents. A dentist pays regular visits to our facility. On-site hospice care is provided. Our community offers respite care - a short-term stay at a senior living community - perfect for those recovering from a hospital visit, the interim during which a caregiver takes an extended vacation, or simply to experience a senior living trial period. This community provides administered injections, medication administration, and licensed nurses are onsite to administer injections when needed. We can administer a sliding scale program to monitor insulin levels via glucose tests, and adjust medications based on the results. Staff members are versed in the usage of the Hoyer Lift for total transfers. Our facility is properly equipped and staffed to handle feeding IV insertion management. Healthcare services include colostomy care. Wound care is available. Services for residents with Disorientation/Lack of Awareness issues ensure residents are well-directed (using queuing, for instance) and supported in a healthy lifestyle - nobody falls between the cracks. Restless residents may wander to cope with the anxiety caused by Alzheimer's disease and dementia - our facility features a locked and secured neighborhood to ensure the safety of all. Our facilities are secure and the staff is specially trained in de-escalating exit-seeking behaviors.
