Met Staff and received information and pamphlet before office was closing for the day. More farther south and east than I planned but did like the surroundings. Could not see an apartment.

My name is Lisa Reed & I am the Vice President of Operations for the 24 Senior Suites we manage in the Chicagoland area. I would like to take this opportunity to first thank you very much for taking the time to provide your feedback related to Senior Suites of Rainbow Beach. While your overall comments are very favorable, I see that you were not able to view an apartment. We would love to be able to schedule an appointment for a tour with you at your convenience. I am more than happy to talk to you further about your specific concerns if you would like to contact me at [removed].
I am living here almost 3 months. The residents are very friendly. The community staff is friendly and courteous. They provide lots of activities for the residents. When I applied for the apartment I was shown a 5th floor apartment. About 3 weeks before moving in I was shown an apartment on the 3rd floor, next to the elevators and laundry room. I wanted the other apartment on the 5th floor. I had spent a lot of time waiting to move. The rooms are nice, but the noise is about to drive me crazy. The residents slam their doors ALL NIGHT AND DAY. They use the laundry room ALL NIGHT AND DAY. Sound like someone is throwing furniture around over my head constantly. I complained to management a few times and was promised it would be taken care of. Nothing has changed. I wish I had gotten the other apartment. I like it here. I just can't stand the noise. It is making me very nervous. Can't rest. Can't sleep well.

Hi Rosie! Thank you for your feedback. We are glad that your experience with our community has been positive! However, it sounds like you do have some constructive criticism. We are always working to provide a better experience for our residents, if you want to share more details with our community supervisory team, please feel free to reach out.
I wouldn't recommend this community to others. The cleanliness of the building isn't there. Once I got in the door the management's attitude changed. There was a fire in my apartment building and I had to pay for a few days out of pocket at a hotel. The community wasn't willing to help residents with giving advice of who to reach out to. Sometimes there it takes a couple of weeks to get a maintenance or any other problem taken care of by the community. The carpet had to be replaced and they haven't replaced it yet. I now have concrete floors in the hallway in the building. I've had mice for the last 4 months in my apartment.Reviewed on A Place For Mom
