After [name removed] passed I never heard a word of condolence from them. That was disappointing. They just wanted me to pay another months rent. [name removed] enjoyed the people and that is the only reason we stayed. The staff constantly turns over. There are long periods of time where there is no activity director so no activities. The food was fair and the cleanliness was average. The staff were very friendly to [name removed]. As far as the cost in the first 6 months the cost increased over [removed]$. It constant my went up and the service went down.

The building is nice except the courtyard is looking run down ,but the energy here is depressing alot of the residents seem frustrated because of lack of help and services they need and pay for . I feel like we're not being heard and deserve a friendlier and more compassionate environment with workers who interact and spend time with us instead of being just a 9 to 5 job .This place has a lot of potential with the right leader and much more oversight.

I am miserable here, was told I could do my own meds then they took those away. There are some med techs here that are very sweet and nice but the administrator's I would give a zero. I stay hidden away in my room because I don't want to run into any administrator. I don't eat here hardly every anymore. The food is bad. The soda/ice machine is always broken. If you like bingo every day you would like the activities. I could get an apartment for [fee removed] less and be happier.

I would tell others to go somewhere else. There is a move in fee that was supposed to cover an assessment and my loved one never received one. My loved one was supposed to have their blood pressure checked, and the community never did. The staff wasn’t around when my loved one moved in, and it took us 30 minutes to find someone to assist us. Starting Friday afternoon and all weekend, there is no staff around. It took 20 times of the phone ringing before a staff member answered the phone, when I called to check on my loved one. The fridge would fall out of the cabinet space, which was too small for the fridge to fit properly. The doorknob was broken in my loved one’s room when they first moved in. The key wouldn’t fit in the doorknob either, and it was never fixed for my loved one during the duration of their stay.

Ok. Clean but had an odor. Recently repainted. Friendly staff, small number of apartments, no hidden costs.

Unsafe!!! This facility frequently is left without adequate cna’s on duty. Supposed to be two. When one calls off management expects the remaining cna to find coverage. When that isn’t possible, one cna is left in charge of 36 residents. Why doesn’t management have backup temp staff on call or come in themselves? You can’t tell me one staff for 36 people is proper staff to client ratio! What happens if there is a fire? One cna couldn’t possibly save 36 people. This happens more times than not. (Inadequate staffing). Where is State oversight?

This place is left with only one cna working more times than not. No backup plan for when people don’t show up for their shift. This leaves one cna in charge of the complete care of 36 residents. Unsafe situation! Inadequate care even when staffed.

Ridgeview Gardens of St. George was a good tour. The community was clean and well-kept. The staff was friendly and answered all of our questions. This community seemed to be more of a rest home community, we were looking for assisted living, we are still very mobile.

When I toured Ridgeview Gardens, I thought the tour was okay but when we left they did not give us any extra information. They just took us around, told us the price, and that was it. Other places gave us a pamphlet to take home.

When I toured Ridgeview Gardens, the person that took me around was very friendly, but the place was very confined and dark. There were long dark hallways. My thought was, if I was going to be in an apartment all day, I want to be able to leave and go somewhere like a nice courtyard or a walking trail. This facility did not provide that.

We moved our mom to Ridgeview Gardens from another senior living facility, where she had lived for about five years. The other facility was large and as Mom declined in health and abilities we felt she was kind of falling through the cracks there. Ridgeview Gardens is small and more intimate and we feel Mom is getting the personal attention she needs. Though smaller than the other place Ridgeview Gardens still has a comparable roster of activities and the ability to socialize is very important to Mom. We feel like Ridgeview Gardens is a much better fit for Mom now and we are very pleased with the care she is receiving.

The Ridgeview Gardens of St. George was on the less expensive side but it was very small. When I toured, I did not think it would be a good for my parents.

My wife got a proper tour of this community. The staff were professional and friendly. After seeing what it is like, my wife thought it looked like a nursing home and was not going to be a good fit.

I believe my mom is good and happy at this community. They have activities here. It is a smaller group and easier for my mom to get around the facility. Mom is still new and getting use to the environment. The plus is they have a lot of CNA's, more than the PSA. If you feel like your loved one needs more help, this is the place.

When I went to see the community I was shown all around the community. They gave me a menu, to see what type of meals they prepare for residents. The rooms seem to be nice. I go by energy and I like to look at the faces of the people living there, I did not get the vibes I wanted. It is a nice place and all the people were nice but I felt this was not a right fit and the price was out of my budget.
