I came across rebel and met with their rep that helped me with some talking points to ease mom into the idea. He invited us both to lunch and immediately made a connection with her. Made her feel safe and preserved her dignity, showing her independent living is more than possible. It took a while for her to get used to the idea but she kept revisiting, and now has been at Revel for 2 months and is more happy than she’s been in years. She’s made excellent friends and is able to do far more for herself than she was while living home alone.
