Delicious meals at Mulu's Home
I especially like the breakfast and I am vegetarian . And I enjoy many different delicious meals for breakfast i usually have scrambled eggs with spinach mushrooms or plain. I love the fact that I can have oatmeal with cinnamon and banana. For lunch I can have homemade lentils soup, brown rice, sweet potatoes, and avocado slices . For dinner there is pasta marinara with parmesan cheese...or baked salmon vegetables Steamed zucchini. Or roasted red potatoes.

Best decision we ever made. Amazing care and staff.
I am forever grateful for the care my brother recieved during his 8 year stay at Quality Life AFH. It's never easy to decide that a loved one must live away from family. But, due to a poor health diagnosis and circumstances beyond our control, an assisted living situation became necessary. My little brother was loved by his siblings, and we all wanted the best place available for him to enjoy and live his life. This facility took our brother in and treated him like family. He knew he was safe and well cared for, and so did we. The facility was always impeccably clean and organized and the staff, friendly and caring. I so appreciate all the love he felt from everyone. He knew this was his new home, his new normal and was grateful we had found such an amazing place. My brother passed recently and the staff was so gentle and caring to all of us as he transitioned to hospice. Thank you Quality Life AFH for making our brothers final eight years, happy and truly excellent.

The Right Place
Our brother spent the last 8 years of his life at Quality Life AFH. From the moment he first moved in to the end, he was loved and cared for by the staff. He transitioned to hospice while there and I can't express enough how loving and helpful the staff was to our brother and us as we went through this difficult stage. Our brother had a number of issues yet he was always treated with respect and cared for as if he was one of their own. In the end we know he had a good full life of happiness and contentment and this was the right place for him. Our heartfelt thanks to the entire staff at Quality Life AFH for giving our brother a home.

Excellent care
[Name removed] and her staff were wonderful in their care for my mother. Despite numerous challenges, they consistently communicated with the family and provided everything we could have hoped for in those circumstances. My mom really loved the staff and was appreciative of their care, meals and attention. I would 100% recommend Quality Life Adult family home, we were blessed that we found them for my mom.

Excellent care
[Name removed] and [name removed]'s team provided excellent care for my mother. They have incredible patients and are always there assisting in any way they can. Despite the numerous difficulties that accompanied my mother's condition only love and patience were displayed by [name removed] and her staff. I don't think many care takers could have handled our situation as well as they did. My mother couldn't of been in better hands I will always be thankful for [name removed], [name removed] and their staff they are very caring people.

Comments are based on tour only. Couple who run facility are very friendly and warm. Very responsive which is much appreciated.
The place is small, clean, bright and cheerful. All flat surface on ground floor. Separate rooms available with shared bathroom that is also cheerful and has walk-in shower. There is a yard to enjoy.
They said that they make sure residents eat three home cooked meals a day, get plenty of fluids and they work with residents each day to help them get exercise and stretch which is very good.
They also handle ordering meds which is very helpful!

Most Excellent Loving Care
We had to find Mom a long term care facility when she could no longer take care of herself. In those days, it was an emergency, unfortunately. [Name removed] and her staff quickly accepted Mom. My sister and I had thought about finding another place in those early days, but once Mom got settled in, we discovered that they really cared for her and took excellent care of her until her final breath. I highly recommend this facility to anyone searching. Yes, its small but that's the secret. Care is again, excellent. My heart and appreciation for this facility very high.

100% satisfied with care given to my Mom while she was here.
I moved my Mom in the Quality Assisted Living in Mountlake Terrace, as first because it was close to where I lived, but as she progressively got worse, I was 100% happy with the care she received. The Q.A.L. is very, very clean!! The staff is understanding and helpful. She was moved onto hospice care and worked side by side with the hospice staff and it was seamless care of my mom between the two agencies. I would highly recommend using their service.

Our Brother has a New Home
Our family found the Quality Life Adult Family Home back in June of 2014. We were impressed with the house and the staff. My brother has MS and needs a lot of help, 24 hours a day. His Doctors have noticed a marked improvement in his overall health and attitude since moving here. We are forever grateful for everything they do for him. Their care and understanding for everything our brother needs just reinforces our decision to place him her. Our family is very pleased in all aspects of his care here and this truly is his home now.

Not Willing To Work With Family
I thought initially we had made the right choice for placing my dad here but after a few incidents, it was made clear to us we didn't. After doing an initial evaluation prior to moving him there the staff did not pay attention to his allergies and served him food he could not have.
They are not willing to willing to respect and work with what the family is saying and is in need of.
At one point when my dad was in the hospital and ready to come back to the home, we were told that the owner didn't feel comfortable accepting him back while we were in the emergency room and we needed to find him another place. When dad was there he was going to be placed on hospice and the owner was not willing to work with hospice.
