All was good. The only thing I didn't understand (because it wasn't made clear) is that I did not have access to the room from the time I paid the deposit until move in day...to get the room ready. I only had access to the room the day before move in. I would recommend the facility to others.

More staffing and personal care
Needs more staffing is my chief concern. On a high percentage of our visits we have discovered significantly impaired residents being left in a group area without supervision. On more than one occasion we had to intervene to ensure the safety of unrelated residents. We are likely moving our loved one, but only because we believe we may be able to find an improvement, not because we are significantly disappointed. There are Lots of very kind individuals make up the majority of staff. There just are not enough of them!

Overall good experience
We chose Poet's Walk Warrenton because it came highly recommended to us. Everyone who knew the place excited had nothing but good things to say about them. The staff were outstanding. They specialize in Alzheimer's and that was the best feature. The only disappointment I had with them was the value for the money. The $[removed] community fee was pretty steep and they agreed to give it back since she was only here a few weeks - but I have not gotten that back yet. Overall I would recommend the facility to others looking.

We chose Poet's Walk Warrenton because of the convenient location. Compared to where he was before, the staff are a lot more attentive and there are always people around. He does nap more than I would like but there is really no stopping him. I think that they are doing a great job and I would recommend them to others.

Our Tour Experience
Our tour at Poet's Walk Warrenton was good. I liked pretty much everything about them. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that their visitation is extremely limited. You could only visit for an hour at a time in a certain room.

We chose Poet's Walk Warrenton because of the location to the family. The room sizes were fine, the room they showed us was adequate for one person. My mom has a private room with her own bathroom. I would recommend this community.

Director gave me a tour. Love this place too! Very warm & friendly. Even have music events here. My loved one would thoroughly enjoy that! Chef is very flexible and can accommodate unusual requests for residents. Hard to choose between this one and Paramount. Both are excellent.

Poets Walk is top notch !
I want to thank everyone at Poets Walk Warrenton, VA for their professionalism, caring, and friendship afforded to my family. I knew on the very first visit when I toured the community that this would be the best place for Mom. The facility is clean, bright, and cheerful. It offers a safe environment, stimulating activities, and delicious food choices. The staff is engaging with the residents and their families making this difficult transition much less stressful. Mom continues to mention how nice everyone is and surprised by all of the activities available to her. I feel very confident that Mom is in good hands.

Life Saver Poet's Walk
I wanted to thank [name removed] at the Warrenton Poet's Walk for everything she did to help our family. She is an amazing person and I'm grateful for her being there for me and my family. Out of all the people I dealt with on our journey to find the best fit place for my mom, I think she was the A 1 number one person. You can tell she loves her job and she puts it first. No matter how many times I called her, she call me right back instantly. If it wasn't for her I don't think my mom would have transitioned as quickly and as well as she did. I can't say enough good things about Poet's Walk I feel very content that my mother is being taken care of properly and probably better than I could. All the staff is so friendly and attending to residents needs that I do not have any reservations about my mother being there at all. It is a fantastic special place.
I also want to thank [name removed] for helping my mom feels safe and at home, you are a life saver!
In conclusion,
I asked my mother how she liked it there and she said she's happy not, mad and that all the people are nice. She said she likes it here.
That made my day!
