I was there 20 days and it was a horrible experience. Except for a select few the nurses and aides were abrupt and uncaring. The director of nursing, social worker and person who coordinated making outside doctor appointments were incompetent. It took a long time for a response to the call button, sometimes hours. Proper medications were not given and when they were given it was not at the proper times. One night the nurse called in and did not come to work. That night my roommate and I were not given our medications. The food was terrible. The only ones who were professional and caring were the actual physical therapists. There are too many bad incidents to describe here, so just suffice it to say that the care is subpar. I was fortunate to have my husband visit with me all day, every day. The nights were the worst for me when he wasn’t there to advocate for me. I would never return there even if my life depended on it!

The staff helps. If I needed to make a doctor appointment or anything, they jumped right on it.

Some of the staff are better than others. They do not greet you or speak to you. There are very few that will even speak to you.

It's a very nice facility and is very clean. It seems like they have a lot of activities for the residents. They're not restrictive on when family can come to visit. The physical therapy was there right away after my step-mother arrived. Everybody is very, very nice. She has said that the food is pretty good. She would prefer to have her own television in her shared room instead of having to share one TV between the two people.

The place was not clean but the staff really treated me good. The director of physical therapy listened to me and she just could not be any nicer. She gave good information over all.

My loved one has been working with the therapy for a few days now and those have been going well for him. We used the facility a couple of years ago and that is why we have returned. We do not have any complaints!

This is our second time using Plantation. The first time was excellent and that is why we returned when my mother needed more therapy services. They have done a good job again! We are really happy with both the therapy and the nursing care she is receiving.

I like the aides they are very nice, very kind people and the nurses too. My only concern is that I haven't talked to a doctor. I asked the nurses things and they do not know. I need to be able to talk to the doctor.

Overall, my mother is content and has had nothing but nice things to say about the staff and how they treat her and interact with her. The staff giving me information and interacting with me and my wife, has been almost perfect.

This is my first experience with a rehab or nursing home in this area. My mom has had a good experience here. The nurses are as attentive as they can be but they are short-staffed. There are a few things that can be improved as far as their equipment. For my first experience, I feel comfortable leaving my mom there.
