Peace of Mind
I'm really happy with Paramount. They're doing a wonderful job. They've been wonderful with my dad, and with me as well. They take good care of him, and he's happy. He never wanted to leave his home, and surprisingly he's happy and always saying how nice they are to him and how nice the place is. They always follow up with me and are friendly when I come to visit. Everything is super clean. His room is always immaculate, including his bathroom. The garbage is always taken out, the bed is always made, his clothes are clean, and he's always dressed and groomed appropriately. His meals always look healthy and nutritionally balanced. And they're always trying to keep their seniors involved and active. It's a great place all around, which gives me peace of mind.

My loved one was at Paramount at Cranberry on hospice for a brief time after a medical decline. They were a bright spot for our family during a very dark time.

Thoroughly pleased
I am thoroughly pleased. I had another facility to compare it to as well so I know it is a great place. The staff are very nice and they take great care of him. He is always dressed well and looks nice when I go to visit. It gives me some peace of mind. I am so glad I found Paramount Senior Living at Cranberry and would highly recommend them to other families looking for memory care. I don't think anyone would be disappointed putting a loved one here.

Good Environment
The staff was great, and very helpful. They did everything, that needed to do and more. They sucessfully, took good care of my loved one. This is moreso a place, for those who are medically challenged. If your loved one, has alzheimer's or memory issues then it's a very good place. If your loved one, just needs help with cooking, and is mentally sane, then this would be a challenging place to be.

A Great Place for Mom
I think it's fantastic. My mom is thriving there and doing so well now that she's adjusted. She had lived alone, didn't see anybody, and wasn't eating well. Now she has three meal a day and snacks. Everybody is very friendly and comes in to visit her, both staff members and our family. She has activities and isn't just sitting in front of the TV all day long. The nurses are fabulous. All the staff are great, including the cleaning people and maintenance men. They're all so friendly and helpful. So far I have no complaints about anything. It's not cheap, but she's really being well taken care of.

Great fit for memory care
We chose Paramount because my husband had dementia and they were able to handle the side effects and care better than some other facilities that we looked into. They are strictly a memory care facility. For the most part, the staff were phenomenal people. They were very knowledgeable about dementia and how to care for the residents. He was not able to participate, but they seemed to always have something going on activities wise. I would recommend them to others looking.

A good place for mom
I was really relived when my loved one went here. It was on over the top situation and I was happy that she was here. They had activities like crafts, and group sessions and gave her some social interaction with the other residents. They also had t.v. time for the residents it was just all around good.

Pleased with our experience
My mom had a great experience here during her short stay at Paramount Senior Living. I appreciated that any time of the day or night if I called, I could get in touch with the nurses and get an update and you did not feel like you were bothering them. They were always happy and cheerful and that put me at ease. I felt like there was a lot of personal 1 on 1 care. We were pleased and I would recommend to others looking.

I think they're doing wonderful for my loved one.
It's a very nice facility. I really like it. The staff are all very nice and very considerate. They have good activities. The only insurance they accept is long term care insurance, so it can be expensive. I'm doing my best to keep my loved one there as long as I can. For the services and the facility and the people that work there, it's probably a better rate than some of the other facilities I checked into.

Difficult Decision, Made Easier By Community
I've been very pleased with the community. The staff are engaging and talkative to my loved one. The hardest thing for me has been not been a lot of details given to me about my loved one. It would be nice to have more detailed information me about how my loved one is doing. If there are any issues the staff call and keep me updated me updated on my loved one.

Our experience with Paramount
We chose Paramount Senior Living because it had the memory care nursing staff that we felt was most appropriate for my father and it was conveniently located to where my parents lived. They do offer private and shared rooms but he is in a private room. The bathing that they do is not in their rooms, it is in the shower area in the hallways. They do also offer hospice care at this facility. I would recommend to others looking.

Didn't Meet Expectations
I know my loved one didn't like this community. I felt that the staff deceived me because they told me that they would take medicaid and they didn't.
Most of the time the staff were quick to get back to me about any questions or concerns I had about my loved one.

He was only there for two days, but the staff was very accommodating to him when it came to food. He had to have soft food so they would mix it up for him, as well as provide a good variety of food to chose from. The layout was very nice, the only thing that was off was the rooms. At first the rooms looked very welcoming but once he moved in, it wasn't quite like that. They told me i would have a chair to sit in beside his hospital bed, but that was taken away and moved to a different room and i didn't have one. But his bed was very comfortable.

Very pleased
One time, we noticed a smell with my husband's bathroom and someone came and cleaned it immediately when we requested it. The staff was good about getting my husband to engage with the other residents, which I liked. They did well with accommodating for his care needs, including getting him a special wheelchair that he would not be able to fall out of. This helped him immensely. My husband noted he really liked the food and they had nice activities available for the residents, they even had animals one time. I was pleased with everything at Paramount. It was good place for my husband.

The person that was supposed to give me a tour had a baby that day and somehow they didn't call to cancel or make a plan for me. The executive director showed me around but didn't have so much as a sheet of paper, much less a brochure with information to give me. Weird. Pretty nice place, but I left there feeling uncertain that they have their act together.

God's Gift
Everyone from the director of Paramount Cranberry to the cleaning staff is cordial and respectful to my mother, They all are calm and have the patience my mother needs. The nursing staff was diligent with working with my mother on regulating her medications. We went through several other facilities that were a hospital setting and very expensive. Paramount is as close to a home as it can get and is very reasonable, especially with the quality of care they give. I gave them 5 stars and if I could give more I would. My father is 90 years old and they have been married for 67 years. He had taken care of her with her dementia for too long. He is so happy to have her receive such great care and it relieves some of the guilt of not being able to take care of her himself. It is so very nice to not have the worry of Mother and know she is well taken care of.
As I keep saying Paramount id God's Gift.
