It is a great place in my opinion as it was a smaller community. The staff was very friendly. It was easy to navigate any problems my loved one had. The communication with the staff was great. A lot of the activities were geared towards the women in the community. The food was okay, some of the food didn't appeal to us.
This facility has 46 apartments and has 4 separate hallways. AL is on the main floor with memory care on the lower level. They do have an NP, [name removed], on Tuesdays. They have 3-levels of care. I liked the open floor layout upon entering. The dining room, activity room(s) hair salon, etc. are all in the same vicinity making it easy for the clients to locate. Their residents range from 80-90. They state a 3-5 min. response time & announce over loud speaker the person & where in the room they are located with pushing their call button. They had no studios available, however they offered a 1-bedroom at a studio price. I only toured a 1-bedroom and it was a sufficient size. They had all the amenities as the other facilities did. For my purposes, they are located too far North for most of family & friends to visit regularly. They are independently owned.
I feel like my grandma, who is in her late 90’s has grown to like Paramount Parks after living there for 7 months. There are many great amenities at Paramount: Delicious meals with plenty of variety, multi denominational church services, friendly and caring staff, great entertainment, beautiful decorations and furnishings, monthly calendar of events, hair salon with fabulous stylist....just to name a few. An honest review also includes information which may not be pleasant as well. It’s unfortunate that the elevator in the wing where my grandmother lives has been out of order since she first moved in 7 months ago. We’d like to use that elevator to access the back courtyard with beautiful fountains etc.,however it remains broken down month after month. The most disappointing experience my grandma has had while living at Paramount is a less than clean room. The housekeeping keeps her bathroom clean, however, her room is rarely dusted and vacuumed. While touring Paramount, we were told her room would be dusted and vacuumed every week but that has not been the case. I would recommend Paramoint Parks for assisted living but I advise family members and residents insist on weekly room cleaning, as promised.
I went on a tour here and it was nice and clean. The staff answered all my questions. I really liked the people here. The dining room was nice and the food smelt good. It was just a darker feel and looked like a nursing home. I recommend families tour many places before making a choice.
My mom really likes this facility and our family is very satisfied. All of the staff members are really friendly and they're really good with my mom. The reason why we chose this community is because the location is convenient and we previously had her in respite care here. The community itself is comfortable and it feels like home. They have a nice gathering room with a fireplace and a large TV to watch movies on. They do offer activities like bingo, movies, and the facility takes them out every week to go shopping. I would recommend this facility to other families.
Iam very happy with the care from this community. The staff is attentive to my mother's need. We have afew meals together and the menu is very appealing with good choices. They have activities for my mom to participate with the other residents. We like this community for the good care and value for what we consider great care.
My mother lived here shortly before her passing. During her time there she could have used a little more hands on help as I requested. There were also some issues with her medication. They were very responsive when I brought up my concerns and resolved the issues I had. Overall, it was a good experience. After my mother passed away they were very understanding and supportive. A few of the staff members were awesome! Based off the short time my mother was here I would recommend Paramount Parks.
The premises are clean, neat, accessorized, and safely laid out. The rooms are nice sized and can be decorated to your liking. The staff is caring, helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. We love the staff and so does my mother. They patient with her and and are able to get her to do things I can not. Paramount has brought in Home Health Care to help get the most out of my Mom. They have brought in a nurse, physical therapist, and a speech therapist. We are so appreciative. The onsite nurse has visited with us twice to discuss my mothers situation (we have only been part of paramount for 3 weeks). So far we are glad we chose Paramount Parks.
The care my parents receive is kind, gentle, loving, responsible. The dining room experience is fairly positive, although I think my parents would prefer flexibility in where they sit. The "assigned" table partners doesn't always work. The only reason we give our rating less than 5 is that this facility has to use contract workers too often, when regular staffing is down. The contract workers don't always get a total tie-in for the shifts they are covering, and some care needs fall through the cracks. But all in all, this facility is the best in Boise that we interviewed - it's smaller than most and that creates such a family style relationship with the staff. They have great activities, in-house and day trips, that are motivating, engaging, and entertaining. Open door exchanges are very welcome with the administrative staff. Cook staff has gone through some changes, but is getting better.
Things did not work out with my mom at Paramount Parks. Mom had an issue after about 2 weeks where she had to go into the hospital and at that time I was told she could not come back. They are not able to care for her properly. I am also having an issue with the billing department. I would suggest checking the staffs qualifications before moving a loved one into this community.
My mother in law is doing very well here and she really likes it. They are super friendly and helpful and accommodating. She is happy and has really adjusted well and fits right in. This community is really great and looks amazing and very clean. She enjoys the meals and likes the activities like bingo. We are very pleased with everything about this community and we have already recommended it.
Paramount Parks in Eagle. Administration is nice and helpful. Staff is kind and helpful to residents. Staff is on time with medicines. Food is good and a variety. Facility is clean and homelike. Activities are regular and cater to the likes of the residents. This was out first experience so we don't really have anything to compare it to. My parents are happy and safe and needs are being met.
Ratio of staff to residents is not what they told us. Additional costs for "extras" was not outlined in briefing/orientation.
We've have some issues with them running out of medications for my mother. It has happened several times. They do not have enough staff members for the amount of residents they have there. At night time it is limited which is an issue. They try to be attentive. There is also a high turn over in staff.
So far so good at Paramount Parks at Eagle. I cant think of anything to have them improve. The facility is clean. The staff is friendly. The care is good. It has been a good experience all around so far.
At Paramount Parks at Eagle they are so willing to help. Any time I go there they are so receptive to what I have to say. The dementia residents are downstairs and it's a little dark. Mom has a hard time with it being so dark. That is one area I would like to see change. The staff is so willing to listen to advice. They are so good at explaining things. The management and care is a 5. It is always peaceful at this facility. The main lobby is wonderful. They made a difficult transition so easy. It is really a classy place. Such a quality of care here.
I really liked the place. They took good care of my father in law. The staff downstairs was very helpful. Nicole was great. Malik, Scott, and Sharon were excellent. Derek and Carmen were great as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I think its a great place. Everything has been going great. My father in law is comfortable here. I would recommend.
The Administration and staff at Paramount Parks are excellent! They are very friendly and knowledgeable. They helped put our minds at ease during this difficult transition. Our mother now loves living at Paramount Parks! They have a great activity schedule. The residents here are always entertained. Their minds are constantly being stimulated with trivia, current events, and informative speakers. They have physical exercise daily and even have a fun walking club! The residents are taken on two outings every week. They have wonderful entertainers that come in to the facility each week as well. We were very impressed with the food. Not institutional food at all! Each day the soups are homemade and there is a great variety in their menu. We would be comfortable in recommending Paramount Parks to anyone!
They were okay, my loved one lived here for a couple of years. The only reason we left was because she started to need more care than they could provide. I liked how close it was though, it was in a good location.
