Overnight, they kicked her out and placed her into an assisted living that was not secure, not properly fenced, and had a door to the exterior from her room. I was directed to Pacifica assisted living. My mom was pretty much out of her mind from added stress. With immense help from Pacifica staff, we were able move her into her new home quickly. Pacific helped me navigate applying for the Assisted Living waiver. A wonderful doctor comes directly to the location. He helped navigate my mom’s medications that helped stabilize her mentally. She went from being mean, angry, scared and not knowing who her daughter was, to being happy, joyful, knowing exactly who her daughter is, and is loved by the Pacifica staff and caregivers.
