When my sister moved in her contract said laundry was free. That's one of the reasons we went with them. Most other places charge. 10 months after she moved in they started to charge [fee removed] a month. That's a lot when you are on fixed income. To make it worse they told the residents who decided to do their own laundry they couldn't use the big laundry room on the premises. That was reserved for paying residents laundry to be done. They have a few small areas that have one washer and one dryer that they are allowed to use. When my sister moved in they told us that they raise the rent every year around June. They said they don't raise rent until you have been there for one year. And the raise is 5% a year. Well they raised my sisters rent 8% after 10 months. My sister is going to stay there.
