Amazing Care and Phenominal Employees
I was a bit hesitant and apprehensive in the beginning because of the situation that had occurred years ago. But I took a chance and decided to get my Rehab at Medford. TO my surprise, this facility was exceptional! The nursing staff were pleasant and receptive to my needs. The Rehab staff were phenomenal and so motivating. The food was good like any other place that you would go to, but the service and communication was amazing! They discharged me in 12 days after my surgery and I feel brand new! My suggestion is to really go for a tour and meet with the team to really see the new and improved system they have going on there! I definitely recommend Medford!

My Father was there for a short stay before having to go back into the hospital cause he fell under their care and needed head care. His health also declined while in their care. After he recovered from his health issues at a local hospital they transferred him back to Medford MC Center.
After sitting down with the team (soc worker & various nurses / aides)and then with the financial coordinator, in which we naively gave his financial situation info.
The next day we received call from the Medford Center stating his insurance is no longer covering his stay.
Per the insurance company, a document was submitted stating he no longer needed skilled nursing and is need of Long Term Care. So he was now forced to pay out of pocket for his care at that (and now) any nursing home that moment forward.
They seen his healthy financial situation and made a statement to the insurance company branding him from receiving Nursing Home Care paid by his health insurance.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Regarding and Regretting Medford Multicare Center for Living
I was trapped there for almost three months this Spring.
Their M.O. seems to be to keep you there as long as they can so they can keep every bed filled as long as possible.
My health was deteriorating while I was there due to {among other reasons} sleep deprivation. I have insomnia with a broken sleep pattern. So I normally sleep from 10 pm to around 2 am then again from 6 or 7 am for several hours. I was given a roommate who blasted his TV at full volume from 7am to 11pm whether he was in the room or not. So I was able to get less than four hours of sleep a night the entire time. I was frequently told that I had to put up with it because I couldn’t change rooms.
They try to get you to take a little round red pill every day that makes your stool so loose that you soil your underpants. Maybe to make you think that you are sicker than you are?
Due to Covid-19 it was almost impossible to see or speak with a doctor.
It went so far that I had to have an attorney set up a Care Plan Meeting to help me escape.

Horrible Horrible Nursing Home
This is the most HORRIBLE nursing home on Long Island. My family member is in the rehab/ nursing home. The staff does not have a clue. They do not take care of their patients. They wait over an hour for a bedpan because the aides are lazy and can’t be bothered. They do not care!! The asst director cant be bothered to call back the family... it’s been a week and no call. 90 percent of the staff is terrible. They do not care. The other 10 percent are good but UnFortunately that’s not enough The trauma surgeons office complained that they can’t get a call back from this place. And they are right!! Everybody here blames the OTHER shift for their incompetence. The nurses don’t give the correct medication as per the orders. It’s horrible the things that go on at this place.
Beware of this place. NO GOOD!! 8 days and no shower....no wash down. Dirty. Sheets have crap stains. Disgusting.
Negative stars.

Bad report mustcread and get back to me
This place is the worst trust me they have no idea how to take care of handicap people ,they lie all day long to people and there family, been having trouble since day one nobody wants to wipe me it seems like everytime I ask I gotta wait for assistance as they take a break in the bathroom, nurse suck big time ,the aides suck as well but there a few that are good most of the aide don't wanna work and the nurse think they are the greatest but most of them don't know shit they give meds and walk away ,the good one hang out this place is terrible trust me they are going down please reach out to me I am in [removed] bed b thanks [name removed]

Horrible
A terrible place for me to spend my end days, unresponsive to call lights..up to 30 minute wait time. Most aides do not listen to my request, simple ones. The attitude of any business comes from the top and patient care and comfort and quality of life are NOT the priority. They do not even supply wipes or drys for cleaning oneself. This is a warehouse for the elderly and disabled. There should be 6 aides on the floor, usually 4 but there have been as little as 3 & 2. Maybe the aides would be better if they too were treated better. The food is terrible, even the twice a week shower is terrible... the hot water is lukewarm...probably temperature turned down to save money! There are some kind and caring aides and I always hope that they are here. Of course, for liability reasons, this is only my dying in hell opinion!!

WORSE SERVICE. THIS PLACE SHOULD NOT EXIST
POOR POOR SERVICE. THIS PLACE SHOULD NOT EXIST. THEY ARE NOT ALERT AND DO NOT EVEN KNOW WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPENING WITH THE PATIENTS. GOOD THING I WENT TO VISIT MY FATHER ON THE DAY HE WAS SHORT OF BREATH OF COURSE MEDFORD MULTI CARE DIDN'T HAVE A CLUE ABOUT IT BUT WHEN I TOLD THEM THEY WOUND UP RUSHING HIM TO THE HOSPITAL. THIS PLACE HAS THE WORSE SERVICE UNSANITARY ALWAYS SMELLS LIKE SHIT AND SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS. IT WAS SO GREAT THIS PLACE WHEN THE PREVIOUS OWNER WAS HERE
