My mother was in there for rehab and the first week seemed ok... Then everything turned for the worse. She was about to be released and they said that they will keep her for one more week for more therapy. After that her care went down hill. She ended up getting a stomach flu that they neglected. She had the flu for about a week and within that week they took 45 minutes to assist her with anything. This flu got her weaker and weaker and finally we told them she needs to go to the hospital. Come to find out that she was severely dehydrated and in pain from being left in her fecal matter for more than 45 minutes. Even the ambulance driver asked my mom how the care was because he has heard bad reviews about this place. . Once my mom was in the hospital we made damn sure that she was not going to be sent back to this place. We are so happy to be getting her in to another rehab that takes cares of their patients and doesn't neglect them. PLEASE THINK TWICE IN COSIDERING THIS PLACE
Worst place possible. Seriously understaffed for CNA's Waits of an hour plus are not usual..... help could care less,,,, Food is poor & usually cold.
A place for Mom contacted me the first week of my Mom’s stay at Meadowbrook and I gave them 5 stars across the board, BUT.... I wish there was a rating for PT/OT/Speech and a separate rating for Meadowbrook itself. [Names removed] were a 5++++++++ in PT/OT/Speech. They were very attentive and caring to my Mom and worked hard to get her back to herself before her UTI, etc. Meadowbrook is a lovely, new facility and the week day staff is very good and pretty attentive. On the other hand, the weekend staff is -0000000. They did not get my Mom out of bed on the weekend unless I was physically there to make them. They would state that “Mom said she did not want to get up” Are you kidding me... I called the office many Monday mornings with no change. I put up a sign behind he bed asking them to get her up in the morning and make sure she goes to the dining room for lunch. Unless I came at lunchtime, it did not happen. Just know what you are getting into. If your loved love can get around ok on their own then you will be fine otherwise be prepared to spend a few hours a day there on the weekends.
Everybody is wonderful and her care is great. She loves it there. Therapy is very good. They are amazing. It is very clean. They have been very good. The social worker and the admissions coordinator have been both wonderful with feedback.
Everything is good when I am there. Everybody is doing a great job and they smile. They answer my questions. It is going well and they contact me. They were good and respectful.
One thing I appreciate is the fact that they are calling me. I like very much that the person from social services has called me. She answered a lot of my questions and is very intelligent. She is very polite and just a sweet person. I called the front desk, they were nice and polite. The assistant administrator was very nice. He answered all my questions and concerns. He took his time and didn't seem impatient. They are very pleasant and very patient with me. They are just very helpful to the full extent. The communication is wonderful. They call me all the time. I wish he could live there.
They have been wonderful. It is very clean. I have never had a problem finding out about her care. Mom has not been happy with lunch and dinners.
I have found the staff to be extremely helpful. The nurse is very, very helpful. The administrative staff has been very good. She has not been happy with the food.
It has improved since we have been here before. Some of the nurses are good.
This place is so nice! The nursing care is really nice! They are very attentive. Everybody has been very nice. We have set down with the team of people and they weren't rushing, and answered all of my questions.
The nurses are excellent. All are very friendly. It is very clean.
I love all the nurses and everyone has been terrific. The staff is awesome. If there is an emergency they contact me immediately.
There are a few people that go over and beyond. The people in the front are always helpful and friendly. The nurses at the unit don't look at you or make eye contact you will have to engage with them first for them to say hi to you. The first week was rough and repetitive. The entrance is very beautiful and clean. Great presentation. No trash around.
It is clean and the nurses are good.
My loved one has not complained about the place. The food portion sizes have not satisfied him. They call me to discuss his care.
They are all very friendly. The building is very clean.
It is very good. I feel like there is not enough aides walking the halls. They are short-staffed. The nurses are wonderful, give good care, and are very attentive to questions and take the time to answer. It is very clean there.
There have been a few things that have gone wrong. They were missing her clothes. The nurse's communication has not been great. I don't think the CNA's have been great. They verge on the rude side. The whole place is pretty clean.
They are taking good care of my father. The nurse was very helpful and nice. They are really friendly and clean the room pretty nicely.
Everything was great. The nurses were all good and friendly.
