We had a very good experience with the community and my loved one being here. The community overall is very friendly. Mayberry Gardens is a very nice facility. Unfortunately it did not meet the accommodations that I was looking for for my loved one. It was very clean and we were there during lunch time and the food smelled fantastic. It is separated between assisted living and memory care and I did not think the security level was there for what I was needing for my loved one. Other than that I thought it looked like a great place.

We had a great tour at Mayberry Gardens. It had more of a group home feel. You could tell it had a very family-oriented kind of vibe. The price point was great. But the deal breaker for us was the lack of a private bathroom for our loved one.
Mayberry Gardens was my first choice for a while, we were on the waiting list. It is a smaller facility with only about 16 residents in the memory care side. I really connected with the administrator and liked her a lot. I had no complaints about this facility they were all extremely helpful.
Our family had an in person tour and the tour was good but the community was to spread out, to many individuals buildings and to expensive for us.
My overall experience with this company was not the greatest. The managers hardly act like managers they would come in late just to leave for lunch 20 minutes later and then half the time not return back from their lunch. They tell you one thing and do another. [name removed] is horrible with communication as well as [name removed]. They are very unprofessional and understaffed. Memory care is treated like garbage. Yes majority of them are at their end of life but that doesn’t mean make it uncomfortable for them. When med errors arise they sweep it under the rug instead of actually taking care of the problem. House 3 was one of the best ran houses which is horrible considering house 1 is the office house and it’s infested with roaches. [name removed] and [name removed] need to do much better since they are running the place. I would not recommend working here. Staff are underpaid and expected to basically do [name removed] and [name removed] job. I’m not sure how this company is still thriving they need to do so much better.

When I showed up for my scheduled tour, the person there didn’t know I was coming and was caught totally off guard. We toured a little bit, and it was a decent facility, but I was not impressed with the lack of professionalism during what was my first exposure to them.
Compared to other places, I would recommend them. I liked the setup and the environment. I've heard and seen worse stories. The struggles we had are things that could easily be improved. The management were friendly and had a good rapport with the residents. Of course there's always some things you need to watch for. I wasn't really happy with the way my loved one's room was cleaned or the personal hygiene care provided. Some of his things were misplaced, including clothing. They were supposed to wash his clothes separately, and they would combine his clothes with other residents' laundry. So some of his things were missing, and other residents' clothes ended up in his room. There was a Clorox incident where some of his things were ruined, which was upsetting to me. One time when I went to get his sheets off the bed, there were feces all in the mattress pad and mattress. So I'm not sure if it's understaffing, or what's going on.

I think the administrative staff could be better with communication and more organized, no one really seems to know what is going on.

It is more for memory care residents than regular residents trying to recover and things of that sort, so it was not a good fit. I would not recommend to others looking.

I moved my mom to Mayberry Gardens a few months ago. She had been declining in her memory care facility in another town - losing weight, becoming withdrawn and starting to have behavior problems. After just one week after moving to Mayberry, she began to smile and her demeanor changed from anxious to calm. Now just a few months later she is a completely different person. She has gained weight and is thriving and happy! The staff is amazing and truly see her as an individual and not a diagnosis. We are so thankful for Mayberry Gardens! Well done!

Very nice residential community. Atmosphere just like living in a home. Smaller groups. Nice new facility. Price given was for a Type A facility, when we needed a Type B, which is more secure.

I searched for a few months to find a great place for my dad that would be within our budget. I couldn't have hoped for a better place than Mayberry Gardens. Finding it was a true Godsend. They treat my dad with great care and respect. Not like some places that ignore those they should be caring for. The entire staff is wonderful to talk to and work with. [Names removed]...you guys are awesome!,Thank you for providing such good care for my dad. If you're looking for a great assisted living or memory care provider I recommend this place to anybody. You can always call [name removed] and she will walk you through everything step by step.

The staff and [names removed] and all staff in [location removed] are kind, truly caring. They can bring a smile to my parents faces. They do everything they can to help when needed. They keep the house very clean and residents and their clothes! [Name removed] has been a great addition - always communicates with family and staff keep you notified of a fall or other issues we need o know about. We are pleased we moved my parents here to your "family community in [date removed]. Only concern is there is frequently switching of staff and causes anxiety when routine. But know it can not always be avoided!
