First location was nice and friendly. 3 stars . OK accommodations. Not sure whether all the staff enjoy their work. Some were totally silent. Second location was cold and unfriendly. 1 star, barely. Cold, unwelcoming feeling. Common room was empty, like no one wanted to come out of their rooms. Owner wouldn’t even allow us to look in the refrigerator to make sure food given to residents is fresh with few left overs and not packed with TV dinners. So we left without saying another word.Reviewed on SeniorAdvisor.com
I chose Martin AFH for my Dad because they wanted to care for him. [Name removed]is the best caregiver, providing home cooked meals and complete physical and emotional care based on his needs. He was very happy here and was finally thriving again. Sadly he eventually had a stroke, but they accepted him back home with hospice in place. They made him comfortable and took care of all the details. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone who needs any level of care for a loved one!Reviewed on A Place For Mom
Martin Adult Foster Care loved Mom before she even arrived, they are that caring. They were professional, thorough and compassionate. We had to move her back to our home state and could not stay longer. They would have been the best of both worlds, a care facility and a home. We value her time there and wish she could have stayed.Reviewed on A Place For Mom
