About the community

There comes a time in all of our lives when we must face the fact that one, or both of our parents, are no longer capable of living independently and providing for themselves. At first, all of us do what we can do. We can move our elderly parent into our home and let them stay and live with our family. But eventually, the burden of properly taking care of an aging parent becomes too much for an average family to bear. Most families do not have the resources to hire private doctors, nurses and auxiliary staff to help an aging parent with their daily needs. No matter who you are, the demands of your own job and the needs of your family may lead you to the point of realizing that you need professional help to assist you with an aging parent. Fortunately, Martin Adult Foster Care is there to help you get the proper care for your aging parent. Martin Adult Foster care has a professional and dedicated staff to tend to the all the needs of an aging adult. The highly trained and loyal staff will tend to all of your parent's needs including feeding, bathing and...

First location was nice and friendly. 3 stars . OK accommodations. Not sure whether all the staff enjoy their work. Some were totally silent. Second location was cold and unfriendly. 1 star, barely. Cold, unwelcoming feeling. Common room was empty, like no one wanted to come out of their rooms. Owner wouldn’t even allow us to look in the refrigerator to make sure food given to residents is fresh with few left overs and not packed with TV dinners. So we left without saying another word.

Wonderful Place

I chose Martin AFH for my Dad because they wanted to care for him. [Name removed]is the best caregiver, providing home cooked meals and complete physical and emotional care based on his needs. He was very happy here and was finally thriving again. Sadly he eventually had a stroke, but they accepted him back home with hospice in place. They made him comfortable and took care of all the details. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone who needs any level of care for a loved one!

Best of both worlds, care facility and home.

Martin Adult Foster Care loved Mom before she even arrived, they are that caring. They were professional, thorough and compassionate. We had to move her back to our home state and could not stay longer. They would have been the best of both worlds, a care facility and a home. We value her time there and wish she could have stayed.
