We had our mother here for several months. I would NOT recommend this place under the current management. All they care about is filling rooms/money - this is evident by them not spending money on caregivers when they need to, in order to fulfill the needs of the residents; which means the caregiving we experienced was horrible in the last few months we were at Markham. We watched the facility steadily go down hill. I will say that there are a handful of staff that are caring wonderful people, but are being pushed out by the terrible management! It's such a shame. The GM may seem nice and that she cares - but beware. Stay away from Leisure Care.Reviewed on SeniorAdvisor.com
Really close and familiar. Across the street from the library mom and dad would go to. Busy street (Capitol Hwy. Smaller facility--nicely maintained. Some units look more like apts (have their own outside door.)Reviewed on SeniorAdvisor.com
