  • WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

A friend of mine was a patient at this facility for about 1 year. The home is clean; however, the structure & rules are geared to the convenience of the owners and not the patients or their guests. They were rude to me and others have shared similar treatment (one even claiming they were physically pushed out) Rules are extremely rigid: NO guests during meal times; NO cell phones while having meals; NO guests after 6p. Patients were put to bed around 6:30p and the staff would leave the area where the patients were to return to their own attached formal home. After staff leave patients alone at night, the staff answered requests for assistance from their patients only when “they” felt like it. The owners/staff are extremely rude and not welcoming. The majority of their patients are at different stages of dementia and don’t complain. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY TO ANYONE ALSO: they have intercoms throughout the facility so visitors’ conversations are listened to by staff!

  • She told has she had two openings for my in-laws in order to lure us there, then revealed she actually had only one opening. Even if I was willing to separate them, I would no longer trust her.

  • moms care

My mom stayed at Lidias for approximately 6 months. She was suffering from alzhiemers, so was not very reactive. From the time she entered Lidias she was immediately put on hospice . We had a difficult time getting across our wishes of diet since mom couldn't feed herself. The diet had some to do with moms overall condition. I don't want to be overly harsh since my moms alzheimers was advanced, but the norm of care seemed to be Lidias knows best .
