Overall pleased.
We are overall very pleased and love living here. The facilities are beautiful. However, access to PGA National needs to be improved so that more than 2 people from LaPosada can gain access to golf, tennis and other sports on a single day

Overall pleased.

La Posada Dining Review
The dining experience is outstanding and quality service and a friendly atmosphere. As I say to my friends, we have two decisions to make daily. Lunch and dinner. We do not have to shop for the food, we do not have to prepare the food, serve the food, or clean up. What is not great about that? The servers really really make it happen. when they present the food to you from the kitchen, the presentation is outstanding.

Having lived here for a little over two years I am very happy to call La Posada Home. The residents and associates are very friendly. The associates go out of their way to make sure that everyone is well taken care of. The food continues to be excellent, with good variety. The staff are responsive to request made by residents regarding food items.

It’s home for me
I have lived in independent living at La Posada for over four years now. I am completely happy here. The staff is amazing, the dining wonderful, the facility gorgeous, lots of activities of all kinds, you can be as busy or not as you please. I have made lots of wonderful friends and enjoy my time with them. My family visits and agree it’s a lovely place.

Overall satisfied
We have not been there ourselves yet, we are going to visit here in a couple weeks but so far our loved ones seems to really be enjoying the La Posada community. They are very satisfied with their apartment they really like it a lot. They seem to like the food, it is not gourmet from what they tell us but the convenience of not having to cook for yourself is really working out for them.

Our Tour Experience
La Posada was our second choice of all the places we looked at in Florida. I liked the layout of the facility, and I thought they had really nice walkways and picturesque gardens. But we ended up moving to a different state.

I love it here, the residents and staff members are friendly. I like the look of the community. There are so many activities to do here, and just like most places the dining service is a little slow. They are having trouble with staffing but if you are patient it doesn't matter.

Not a caring place!
The care I received was so bad that I moved to a new facility. Call lights were not answered, the aides turn the lights off quickly, they know they are monitored, and then don’t return to help you. The nurses station phones all go to voicemail so you can’t call for help. It’s not a very caring place.

I've been a resident for five years and love it. My husband and I visited several communities and had no hesitation in choosing La Posada. It's location and amenities are ideal. The varied activities keep us busy, and the associates are a great asset to the community. We made the right choice!

Great Care for Dad
My dad lived in the memory care at La Posada. We were all very pleased with the community and the care he received. He recently passed away at the age of 90. I searched all over for the best memory care unit when it was time. One important factor for me was I didn't want it to be all women, many memory care units are. The whole time my dad was at La Posada they had 30-40 % men. They also had a nice outside area and take the residents out of the secured area regularly and even take them on regular field trips to different places. The staff is caring and were great with my family as well as my dad.

Hallways were painted in depressing colors for us. Did not like the idea that assisted living tenants were not able to use the pool and many other facilities on site because they are for "independent" living tenants only. Not a good fit for our mom.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback. I would like to clarify a few of your comments. First, La Posada has been going through a multi year remodeling, construction and renovation plan costing tens of millions of dollars. I am glad to share that our Assisted Living area is scheduled to be remodeled by the end of this year. Based on feedback from our residents we remodeled resident apartments first.
Second, we absolutely allow our Assisted Living to use and enjoy the pool. In fact, we purchased an ADA compliant lift to allow access for residents not able to enter under their own strength.
