We toured Inspired Living Alura and it was very beautiful. It just didn't feel as welcoming as other places we visited. We chose another community because Inspired Living wasn't a good fit for us.

I would say to make sure that this community is staff adequately to be able to give the services that you are paying for. Some of the staff are okay but a lot of them give excesses like on the director level. The aids and everyone are very nice and kind.

Should you have any continued concerns, please reach out to the Executive Director at the community so that we can work to resolve them.
It is a very nice facility, they were only opened a few months when we came in so they had some operational issues they needed to work through. things such as making sure appropriate medications were being given, communication between staff and family, etc. Sometimes when medications are given, you have to have trial and error period to adjust medication for appropriate results and I felt we did not get that trial and error period. I think our family member was more mobile than what they were used to.

Our loved one seems to be enjoying the meals and dining service and a big reason we chose this community was location, it is very closer to our family. We also were able to see them build Inspired Living from the ground up and its a very well built building.

Mom chose Inspired Living because it was close to where she lived and it was a brand new facility. It is beautiful and in a nice location. The facility itself is very clean and the apartments are extremely nice. They have been disorganized, so they need some improvement there. Their transportation has not been good and they do not have any activities going on. Mom said the food was not great, but they did just get a new cook and she said it has been much better since then.

We also have monthly food committee and resident council meetings that all residents are encouraged to attend. At these meetings, details and opportunities are addressed. In addition, we offer a suggestion box where residents can place their suggestions confidently and management will address them in a timely fashion.
