Most staffing is pleasant and hard working. A few lack motivation and do not take ownership of their positions as a caregiver. Main lobby and eating area stay clean however staff have to be reminded to monitor residence restrooms and residence are only given one roll of toilet paper at a time. Food served is borderline average as far as selection and variety. Pulled barbecue processed meat on a bun and French fries seems to be the go to meal. The residences do not have a good outside area to enjoy or stroll in sun with walkers due to graveled pathway.

My mother was at Hopedale this past Spring &Summer. I can’t find the words to express the wonderful care she received while there. It is exceptionally clean & the food wonderful.Patient care is like they are caring for their own family member. The nursing staff is very caring and watchful of the patient’s status at all times. My mother did pass at the end of summer, she was 95. Hopedale made her last months more bearable. Thank you to ALL at Hopedale!
