We chose The Springs because the food is cooked on site instead of brought in and the value for the money was great as well. The apartment sizes are very good. I do wish that they had a bar, a lot of other places we visited did happy hours or social hours and they were the only ones that did not provide that. I would recommend to others looking.... When I moved in, the food was absolutely excellent and was one of the reasons that I chose it. People who came to visit even raved about it. They have gone through many different chefs and the food has deteriorated over the courser of the year. The staff is very friendly and pleasant here.

Very comfortable.
Have my own apartment and I like the bands in the courtyard. Fun entertainment.
Attractive and clean venue with kind, friendly, and efficient staff and management. Covid issue is handled with care. Daily Bulletin as helpful and entertaining.
My grandson found this place for me! I'm so happy here! I have been here three years and plan to stay. My family works hard for all of us. They always find time for our needs with a smile!
My wife is a resident of the Springs, Escondido. Place is always clean and well maintained. [names removed] are great managers and staff are very friendly. Food and beauty shop services too. Great place-my wife likes it very much. -been there 10 months now.
My mother lives at The Springs of Escondido and loves it! The staff has been there for a long time and are very caring and friendly. After things opened up in July, they have begun adding all of the activities, concerts, etc. back so residents are getting outside and enjoying the community (and each other) more and more. I highly recommend this community for anyone wanting a hassle-free life with people who care surrounding you.
Springs of Escondido. Our mother has been at the Springs for over 6 years now. She is a nonagenarian cancer survivor with macular degeneration, and sometimes quite the personality!! The "facility" has renovated while we have been there, and done a good job with the C-19 procedures required. It is kept clean, the regular staff, cooks, servers care about the residence there, and really work hard. The management has changed a few times, but the Holiday directors have been helpful as well. The facility format changed, and is now more of a senior facility with no staff present overnight. The residents all have alerts, and hiring your own external caregivers to come in where needed is suggested. The facility is charming, nice courtyard, library, gym, and generally do a great job at plenty of activities and accommodating the residents. There is a shuttle, as well as activities scheduled out when possible. Overall, a caring - good - clean place. Let them know [name removed] recommended them :)
My father, [name remove] has lived here for the past few years. It is a lovely facility and I feel that he is very safe and happy. The food is AMAZING, the weekly cleanings are so helpful for a guy in his 90s that likes to spend his free time enjoying life. The staff is so nice and friendly. I highly recommend this place for your loved ones.
My mother lived at The Springs of Escondido two years ago and absolutely loved it! She needed to move to a memory care community recently but we always knew she was safe and happy at the Springs.
Thank you to all staff. You all cater to my mom no matter what the circumstances. You are always there for me when I call with crazy requests. During this horrific time, you work at keeping everyone engaged and healthy. You are quick to inform us if any changes. You are accommodating. You are all fantastic! [names removed] to name a few. Thank you so much!!
The staff here are great. They care and put an effort in to making residents happy. The last couple of months has added to their stress, because of Covid, but they are always cheerful and accommodating.
Our dad was 104 years old and we wanted to makesure that he had 24 hr care, we were told that we would have to hire extra care which was fine with us and we did. Unfortunately, he fell one night, the doors were locked and paramedics couldn't get in. Because this situation, we moved him out. We loved the place, the food was great, and the staffing was wonderful prior to this.
I love living in the Springs of Escondido. All of the residents, managers, and staff are friendly, kind, and caring. Our Sous Chef, [name removed], always makes sure our meals are delicious and we get what we want.
My Daughter found the Springs - liked it the best. I've been here 3 months and love it! Employees are great!! Love [name removed] and [name removed] and our "new" [name removed].
I have lived here for almost eight years. I like it here. In my time here, I have had several sponsors. Some I like better than others, but got along with all of them. I was asked to be an Ambassador and I accepted. I like to be of help when I can. I'm a poet, and I'm writing my life story.
Nice & friendly people 2 bedrooms good size Clean light & bright More affordable Our 1st pick so far
I highly recommend The Springs of Escondido. The staff is friendly & helpful, the food is good and the cost is responsible.
Friendly staff, people all seemed to know each other. Residents we met seemed happy and upbeat. Good schedule of events. Other pluses were response device included, rate lock available, nice courtyard, a la cart help services, good cost and good sized space with kitchen $2800/1bedroom. Minuses were: little dark and dingy, fairly small @114 residents, worried about mom being challenged and connecting with the older population.
