I did not have the chance to visit the Holiday Harvard Park community but according to other families members the staff were all really great
This is an awesome community. My loved one was able to make friends and settle in very quickly in the community. The staff are great to work if the family has questions or concerns, and they are quick to respond with answers. It would be nice to see some bigger portions and more variety of options for meals for the residents.

We went with Harvard Park because it was one of the more affordable option s in the area and the staff were all super friendly. The apartment sizes are very nice and spacious. I liked that they were not trying to be too much, it is modest living but they have a real sense of community. This gives my dad the freedom to feel he is living his own life with independence but he has people there around him if he were to need something. They allow alcohol but it is not central to the socializing and for my dad this was very important. It is the perfect fit for him and I would absolutely recommend them to others looking for this type of living.

It's great my parents don't have to worry about cooking! Beautiful property in and out they can walk outside to be near nature. It's a quiet neighborhood and convenient to services. The staff is friendly and helpful esp.. the dining room employees. The shuttle is an added bonus- if I cant take them to where they need to go. The employees have always been helpful getting my parents involved. Love the weekly/ daily notices of what's happening. Thanks
The housekeepers take good care of me

Excellent communication between managers and residents. Poor communication among residents - lacks hearing skills lacks brain understanding. Too much repetition. Not a totally independent center, seems like more assisted living than independent. Reason I had to leave = too many old residents, cannot reason, have logic and their needs for caregivers.
I like it very well. Wii bowling is fun and chat times are great too.
The way they did my carpet explains how this place is ran. They replace the carpet and they used two different pads. Half of it has a nice pad while the other half has a cheap thin pad. So basically they half-assed it and that's how they do everything around here! The walls are so thin you hear everything that goes on in your neighbor's apartment, so you never really get to live by yourself.

Response from Holiday Harvard Park Retirement
September 24, 2021Hi Dale, thank you for taking the time to review our community. We regret that you have had some experiences that were not fully satisfactory while living with us. Our carpet vendor used their regular padding when updating the carpet in your apartment and we did not receive any comments regarding any irregular thickness issues. We were able to address the noise level with your neighbor whenever you mentioned it to our management team and have not received any further comments regarding this being an issue any longer. If you continue to have any more noise problems, please be sure to reach out to the management team and we will be happy to assist further. Thank you
we highly recommend harvard park to anyone.

Response from Holiday Harvard Park Retirement
September 10, 2021Hi Bobbie, thanks for taking the time to leave us a 5-star review. Have an amazing day!
Very good management, a big room and lots of bard around the shower. Good windows very clean, love it. Maintenance and housekeeping are both good. The food is mostly good
staff is great, very professional. I enjoy all the meals and enjoy making choices. My apt is spacious 1025 sq and housekeeping keeps everything neat and clean.
I have already told many about the community and recommended it to several people. The whole package is amazing as well! The staff, room configurations, ease to talk to the staff, and more all stand out to me. The community worked with the family within the COVID restrictions as well. It would be nice to have a vehicle for transportation that allows for wheelchairs, and scooters. The only reason we left was that my loved one's needs increased, and the community gave their approval of the new community that my loved one went to.

My dads seems to be very happy with Harvard Park Retirement. He said the food is good, he has plenty of places to walk, and also the location of the facility is great. He has access to lots of shopping and other basic necessities. I would recommend to others looking.
I would recommend people come here. It's basically a good facility. They meet my needs when I need them, and they always work on problems when they come up. The staff are friendly, and most of the residents are friendly too. With the food, sometimes I don't like the options. They're working on improving activities now that Covid's getting over, and they're working on getting more things for us to do, which I appreciate . And I'm looking forward to new things.

The staff and our fellow residents are the best. That's the main reason we moved in after visiting here several times. We can't speak highly enough of both the staff and the residents. The staff go out of their way to be helpful. Most everything we have a request or suggestion about, they listen closely, and if it's within their power, they do something about it. This is an active facility, and the residents are all extremely friendly and participate in activities. It's just an exceptional place. They have been very cautious with pandemic lockdowns and cleaning, but they took a great amount of pride in keeping the place as active as possible even under the pandemic rules. The food is excellent, has a lot of variety, and is very flavorful. It comes to the tables hot, is very tasty, and we can tell that the kitchen staff works very hard to provide good eating facilities here.

This community is an independent living but it would be nice to have someone who could help with minor medical issues. The communication is above average between the staff and our family. They have a newsletter packet that is given out weekly. I would recommend this community to others
