Tour of facility

I toured this facility for my family member, I’m Seriously considering this place. It was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Residents were happy and smiling. It seemed to have a busy but well established glow. Even a little short staffed, you would not have known. Everyone was very helpful and welcoming.

Overall - I would yes to Hilltop

Overall it's pretty good, but they have a high turnover in staff which makes it a little difficult to communicate with certain people.

Hilltop review

The people in charge and the caregivers are just so helpful, anytime we have questions no matter how specific, they are always there to help out and answer anything.

My Review of Hilltop

This community was nice; however, it is off a major highway.

DON'T GO THERE!!!!!

Cancer medication valued at $50.000 was stolen. Mattress on bed was infested with bed bugs. No activities. Staff not certified to administer medications. Food not edible. Medications were not given as prescribed by doctor. I CHECKED OUT AFTER 9 DAYS. I STRONGLY SUGGEST DON'T GO THERE..

Hilltop is wonderful !

Hilltop has been a family to our mother during this Pandemic and more than helpful to help us connect with our Mom. The staff has always been so concerned and watchful for Mom and attentive to her needs. Our questions and concerns are ALWAYS addressed as to her well-being. Our family truly feels Hilltop was a blessing to us for Mom's physical care. She will be 101 years old in September and we feel her family at Hilltop has made this happen. [name removed] is great ! Thank you Hilltop and Inspirit.

Hilltop is Outstanding

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Hilltop for about 2 years and we couldn't be more pleased with our decision. The care she has received has been top notch and 2nd to none. She started her residency with an independent living status. She participated in meaningful activities and made friends with other residents and members of staff. As she aged in place, it was necessary to move her to the dementia care unit where she has received undivided attention. In fact one of the care providers, [name removed], sends us pictures and gives us updates even before we inquiry. Way to go [name removed] and Hilltop!!! In addition to the friendly staff we have found the facility spotless and the food looks and tastes like a homemade meal. It really has put our minds at ease to know that mom is located in as safe and nurturing environment.

Our Dear Family Member

I have a dear family member who resides in the Memory Care at Hilltop. She is loved and cared for. They bring her oils and lotions to help her sleep at night and make sure she is hydrated in the day. The staff have been so kind to our family and to our loved one.

Residents’ care

I only get to visit every three months but there are always major med errors and prescribing. Understaffed especially since I was there at Christmas time. Some med techs need more education. Very poor communication among techs, nurse, and management. What happened to end of shift reports and charting my Mom’s care? Techs are very friendly, just overworked. There also needs to be communication between nurse practitioner and those who are trying to keep up with their loved ones

Employee with attitude issues.

I called this facility to see about putting my parent here and the admissions director, a lady named [name removed], was extremely rude and aggressive over the phone. She would not let me ask any questions and cut me off and talked over me when I tried to speak. She actually hung-up on me when I kept attempted to interrupt her because she would not stop talking and let me speak. Terrible customer service and am amazed they would have someone with her attitude dealing with prospective clients. Would never consider putting my parent here.

I was not impressed with their communication.

I was not impressed with their communication. And their phone system sucks. Their assisted living is unsupervised. I have always had problems with the billing. They are really not a memory care set up. It's also an older building.
