I was assured of transportation to medical appointments. Transportation has been difficult, if not impossible. Heavy doors are not suited for anyone in wheelchairs or walkers (can't open). Fire doors between some exits, and parts of building are also not workable for handicapped. Frequent staff changed and absences leaving residents vulnerable.
I would highly recommend them.

Good food, nice people, special recognition of veterans. Good precautions for Covid 19. Loads of activities.
relaxing. Friendly people, good food- pool exercise.
We chose Highpoint at Cape Coral because the nursing care staff was better trained than some others places that we looked and also there is a pool. They do also have a lot of activities provided for the residents and bring in a lot of entertainment. They have a relationship with the school system and they bring in the kids to put on little plays and interact with them. I would recommend them to others looking.
From what we were able to see, Highpoint is a brand new, very high end, modern facility that has all of the bells and whistles. It was out of my parents price range.
We have had a couple of issues, we thought they had to use their preferred pharmacy and we were told it would be no different than any other pharmacy. It ended up being much more expensive so we switched back. She is having probelms with ants in her room. She is not a fan of the food, it is more institutional. They have been out of a lot of things as well that are on the menu. There have just been some issues during the transition period.
Highpoint is a fairly new community, very well planned out space, lots of activities and the staff are very caring. My loved one is happy here.
We had a very good first impression with Highpoint, they were so responsive, always checking in with my parents to see how their decision process was going but never made them feel pressured. The in house activities given the circumstances are actually great which is very surprising. The residents can be as busy as they want, always something going on. The meals aren't awful, but we have heard couple of times from our parents that it is a hit or miss. One of the biggest things we like about Highpoint. is that our parents are safer here then being on their own house and risking getting hurt or falling. Also the social opportunities is huge for them.
The residence and staff are very friendly. The food is good but I wish there were more activities though. The community is neat and clean and communication is about average. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.
It's a beautiful, brand new facility. I feel blessed that we found them, especially after a bad experience elsewhere. I haven't had trouble with anybody - the staff are all caring, delightful people. My loved one loves the food here. They cater to him, for instance if he's not wearing his dentures, they'll accommodate with softer food. He looks forward to eating, and he's gained some weight. It's good to see him doing so well here. And he has nothing but good things to say about Highpoint. The activities have been a little limited due to Covid, but the ones he's participated in he's enjoyed. The medical staff are great. The doctor on staff actually calls me to tell me how my loved one is doing. It's a remarkable place, and very, very reasonable. It's always the same bill every month, no figuring anything out, just very simple.
The staff members really care about our loved one at the community, not only do they show good care to our loved one but also to our extended family. They have just been really good to everyone so far.
We chose Highpoint at the time because they had a higher nursing certification at the time. The ownership has and they have dropped that since then. I do think that they are managing my aunt and uncle well, it is not an easy time of life and I think they are doing all that they can for my aunt and uncle at their current stages. Overall, I would recommend them to others looking.
The community said they would have no problem taking care of my father, but 6 months later there was an ownership change and the staff started being rude to my father, and he wasn't being taken care of. I was told he was getting too bad and needed a skilled facility and was given a 45-day notice. They have charged for a full month even though he was only there for 7 days. I would not recommend this facility.
We chose Keystone Place because they had a 2 bedroom assisted living available and that was important to my parents. Also the location played a big part. They seem very happy with the food that they are served. The best part about the community so far is how the staff members try their hardest to keep all of the residents content. I would tell others to not hesitate to call and ask any questions, the lady at the front desk it awesome and very helpful. I would recommend.
The food is good. There are not many residents there so the activities are very limited. I think it will get better when they have more residents but at this time they do not have the activities they told us they wood. They do have some outdoor space.
We are extremely pleased with the services and most especially the care at Keystone Place At Four Mile Cover in Cape Coral FL. Our Dad has been a resident there for two months and we have seen him thrive as a result of the kind, compassionate care he is receiving. [name removed] the Director of Nursing is committed to providing the residents with innovative and compassionate care. As a family we feel incredibly fortunate to have found this facility for our beloved father.
