We moved in, and then two weeks later they shut down visiting due to Covid. So I haven't been able to spend a lot of time there. But I believe the staff are phenomenal. My loved one seems very acclimated. I can't say enough good from what I see. Recently I've been able to visit in the lobby, which has been spotless. I cannot attest to the living spaces just yet. They have a new executive director for a few months now. She's sent out two or three letters with updates. As far as day-to-day care, I don't receive regular updates. But anytime I have questions I can call, and they have called me when issues have arisen.
The activities prior to COVID were excellent. Even during COVID they would provide the residents puzzles, reading material, and things to do individually to keep them active. I'm very pleased with my loved one's care. I would recommend friends take a tour of this community. The community has been patient with my loved one in her adjustment to this community. The staff thinks my love one is adorable. The community was very accepting of my loved one.
We chose this community because they were close to home so it is easy to get back and forth. They also had a much better price than other places we had looked into. The rooms are good size. I have eaten here and the food is excellent, everyday they have 2-3 choices. They serve restaurant style and it tastes like good home cooked food. My favorite part about this community has been the fact that everybody knows my parents name, it makes them feel more at home. I would recommend Hidden Meadows on the Ridge.
How grateful we are that we were directed by friends to Hidden Meadows when we considered to what facility we would move our mother. From the first days at the Laurels to the transition to Hidden Meadows, we both always felt secure that we had made the right decision. We never came across anyone, from nurses to aids to people in the dining halls to receptionists, who were less than professional. What impressed me most was that there was never a favor or concern that we raised which was not met and handled With enthusiasm and immediacy. [Name removed] and I could not have been more appreciative for the care you and your staff provided to make sure our mother was always comfortable, even though at times we know she was difficult. That was yet another example of the quality care and compassion the staff provided. [Name remove], you do an exceptional job in running a phenomenal facility; [name removed] and I want you to know how much you and your staff are appreciated. If we can ever do anything to help repay the many blessings you’ve given us, please don’t hesitate to call. Our deepest thanks,
My wife and I both feel very blessed that someone had directed us to consider Hidden Meadows while we were looking for a place for my mother-in-law. From the first time we stepped into the building, we were greeted by a bright, clean, and very organized facility... and it was always that way when we visited every day. It was very obvious that the people who were employed at Hidden Meadows took pride in their work, and it showed in their care for my mother-in-law... and in the physical facility itself. All of the employees, from the receptionists to the aides to the nurses to the food preparation people, were always enthusiastic and more than eager to help. No concern or request was ever overlooked; instead, it was addressed quickly and positively. Many times my wife and I would go to visit my mother-in-law, only to be greeted by one of the employees who had an idea of something that he or she could do to make my mother-in-law more comfortable. This was so comforting to us, because this is a very difficult thing for a family to do, but Hidden Meadows made us feel secure in our choice. We knew that our family member was being well cared for, and it eased our worries. It is very obvious that the management has a very clear vision of what an assisted living facility should be and it hires only people who share that same positive philosophy. I can honestly say that there is nothing I could suggest upon which Hidden Meadows could improve. My wife and I just thank you for all that you have done for us. You folks are the best!
Hidden Meadows is a nice quality home. It is difficult with the pandemic since we can't get in to visit. They have set up a Facetime schedule for families to connect with residents. Proximity to family was the driving force in our decision making process.
My loved one was at the Laurels. There is hardly any staff to care for these people who need help with almost everything. A small percentage of the staff really care. The management isn't very helpful or compassionate. They believe in medicating to ease thier workload. The building is nice looking.
This is a very clean, friendly and welcoming facility. [Name removed] was very helpful and explained all the options. We had a tour and appreciated the large space with many activities offered to the residents.
My loved one was at the Laurels. My loved one was not an easy patient to care for as their dementia caused them to have behaviors that were not who they were. The staff dealt with my loved one with compassion. They joked with them and comforted them when needed. When my loved one took a turn for the worse, the staff was AWESOME! They got hospice to help and they went above and beyond to keep them comfortable until they passed. My family and me are eternally grateful for the care they provided our loved one when they were at their worst.
Hidden Meadows is the most wonderful place my parents could have ever lived. The staff and the other employees are not only nice, but are caring, engaging imaginative, empathetic. There are not enough words in the English language to properly thank them for everything they did for my parents, myself and my sister. They handled my parents hospice care with professionalism and heart felt caring. It was also a learning experience for some of the younger employees. I have dealt with other facilities in the area that I couldn't wait to get my mother out of. Hidden Meadows is a gem in the assisted living community. I can't say enough good things about them. I give them 5 stars all around.
