Living Options and Amenities
Golden Heritage Assisted Living offers private and semi-private quarters. Our rooms are large, and every area of our home is designed for the safety of those with limited mobility. Because we aim to nurture each of our residents’ unique personalities, everyone may decorate their rooms how they wish. Private bathrooms are an option, and free wifi and cable TV is available in every room. We also welcome your pets in our home.
Socialization and a welcoming atmosphere is very important to us, and our dining room is at the heart of this belief. We are equipped with a state-of-the-art kitchen and elegant dining room with enough seating for everyone. Three home-cooked meals are served daily by our staff chef who takes care to prepare entrees according to every resident’s preferences and dietary requirements. Nutrition is also important to us at Golden Heritage, as we believe it is key to healthy longevity, so we take care to make sure our ingredients are nutritionally-balanced as well as delicious.
Indoor Common Areas
Indoor common areas are fully accessible to our limited mobility residents, fully secured, and comfortable as can be. Our large living area is a hub of socialization and camaraderie, with a big screen TV, couches, and leather-bound recliners for everyone, all surrounding a rustic brick fireplace. We aim to feel like home, and our interior design is classically homey and tastefully comfy. Our dining room and living area are the hub of most of our indoor activities, and you can typically find us enjoying our evenings with games, movies, or both!
Outdoor Common Areas
Our outdoor grounds are surely something to be proud of. You’ll find a fully-covered patio with outdoor fans and plenty of seating - big enough to accommodate a large dinner party in the shade. We have a large, park-like backyard full of lush grass and walking paths. Our yard is also home to goats and chickens that love the company of our residents. We are quite proud of our gardening area, which has planter boxes for anyone wishing to try their hand at growing flowers, herbs, or veggies. On the lawn you’ll find a set of cushiony seats and drink tables, perfect for enjoying those regal Arizona sunsets under the gentle canopies of our large shade trees. All of our outdoor areas are secured to ensure the safety of our residents. Lounging in our lovely backyard, you will feel like you’ve found paradise.
At Golden Heritage, you will find each of our common areas alive with a vibrant energy. We aim to keep that energy going every day as we fill the space with activities. Throughout the day we’ll schedule any number of classes, lectures, or relaxing pastimes. This can include things like arts and crafts lessons, daily exercise classes, educational speakers, music therapy, and pet therapy. There are also plenty of opportunities for fun events like movie nights, weekly bingo games, musical performances, birthday parties, holiday parties, and even dances! We aim to keep everyone entertained and happy here at Golden Heritage. We encourage our staff to truly listen to the unique interests of each of our residents, so that we may tailor our activities to best suit them on a personal level. Happiness is healthy, and we never forget that here!
You can ensure that you’ll be cared for here at Golden Heritage. Our staff is qualified and trained to assist residents with all activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed, in a comfortable and caring way. We assist with all ADLs, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, and toileting. Our staff’s housekeeping and hygiene skills are impeccable, and it shows. Living areas at Golden Heritage are always kept clean and fresh, and laundry services are provided to every resident. Transportation to and from scheduled medical appointments is provided, and daily reminders are available for anything you or your loved one would like to be notified of.
Our upscale northern Scottsdale location is in close proximity to anything you or your loved one could possibly need. Scottsdale is a city designed for a life of leisure, with local parks, golf courses, museums, sports arenas, dining, and shopping options that all meet the highest lifestyle standards. We are minutes from famous Old Town Scottsdale, with its cute shops and amazing restaurants. We are also located near several wellness centers for your more holistic health needs, and minutes from the Scottsdale Medical Center which is home to numerous offices of doctors and specialists.
Golden Heritage is managed by a registered nurse, with a fully-trained staff qualified to oversee and assist with all of our residents’ specific medical care requirements. Wheelchairs, walkers, and the Hoyer Lift method are employed to help all of our residents with their mobility needs. Reminders can be scheduled for residents’ medications and medical treatments. Assistance with redirection is practiced for those with Alzheimer’s or dementia. Doctors and occupational therapists, such as podiatrists, physical therapists, speech therapists, and respiratory therapists, make frequent visits to our home to check up on the health needs of our residents. Continence and hospice care is also provided, when needed.

Assisted Living Home
In the state of Arizona, an Assisted Living Home refers to a health care institution other than a hospital or a nursing care institution which provides resident beds or residential units, supervisory care services, personal care service, directed care services or health-related services for persons who do not need inpatient nursing care. This can include adult foster care, supervisory care services, personal care services or directed care services provided on a continuing basis. This type of facility provides resident rooms or residential units to ten or fewer residents.
Directed Care Services
The term Directed Care Services refers to programs and services, including personal care services, provided to persons who are incapable of recognizing danger, summoning assistance, expressing need or making basic care decisions.
Memory Care refers to assistance provided with activities of daily living (ADLs), while also focusing on the needs of adults facing a decline in mental abilities. These communities provide memory-stimulating services and activities, with the goal to promote the well-being of patients with dementia.
