We moved my brother to your facility today. I am a nurse who has worked in many Assisted Living facilities and was so impressed with the level of caring and warmth extended to us and my brother today. You all are what makes an Assisted living a home. [names removed] for a move in that we expected to take all day it was done in 1 1/2 hours. For anyone who is looking for a home for your loved one look no further this is such a wonderful facility. I cant thank all of you enough, placing a loved one is such a difficult decision but having caring competent people who want to make a difference in loved ones lives make it stress free! Thank-you all for what you are doing at Forestview Manor!
The place was very clean and inviting however we did not see any interactions of staff with the residents. That was a very large concern of mine since my Mother has dementia and needs to be engaged.
When we visit, the staff at Forestview Manor is constantly cleaning, which we really like. The staff is fantastic. They are all very accommodating - if they happen to miss a call from us, they immediately return it. They are very good with communication! The care giving staff goes way above and beyond our expectations and I really wouldn't change anything about the care my mother-in-law is receiving. They offer a lot of great activities, including bingo which my mother-in-law loves. They make sure sure to accommodate all the residents' needs to ensure they are able to participate in as many community activities as possible. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the staff at Forestview Manor did everything they could to keep the residents safe and as a result have had zero cases within the community. Overall, they are doing a great job and we would highly recommend them to those looking for a place for a loved one!
We placed my 95 year old mother there after checking out many places in the area. Price is one thing we had to consider, but we wanted the best for my mother. The aides have been very nice to my mother and very willing to talk to us regarding her care. They all know her even though my mother is very quiet and reserved. The extended staff also is very friendly and knows who my mother is along with knowing us. We appreciate everything they do for her.
Our mom moved to Forestview Manor a year ago. She is lovingly cared for in the memory unit. Facilities are clean and cheerful and the staff are wonderful. Two-way communication with care and medical staff is excellent. We are grateful that our mom is living a quite and peaceful live at Forestview Manor.
My mother has been at Forestview Manor now for 2 1/2 years. She's been in each of the 3 different Manors, which are more like nice private homes than large buildings. Each Manor is tailored specifically to meet the changing physical and mental needs of the residents with dementia. My mother calls her room a "penthouse" and believes that she is living in grand accommodations. The staff at Forestview did a great job with each move to decorate my mother's room in a way to make her feel comfortable, with lots of nice personal touches. Everyone at Forestview Manor has been fantastic to work with, and I highly recommend it to anyone wondering where the best place is to go for assisted living care for their loved one. We looked at a bunch of places within a 60 mile radius, and none of them were comparable to Forestview Manor in our opinion. Top marks!
My mother received wonderful care at Forestview. She loved the companionship with the other residents. She enjoyed the food and activities. She moved in for respite care after time in rehab where she could have stayed in their assisted living. We considered all AL locations in the Lakes Region before this placement. Forestview is comfortable without being "old-fashioned". Lots of light, pleasantly furnished rooms, enjoyable outdoor areas and attentive care-givers. She decided to stay here saying that she really enjoyed it. An unexpected health issue shortened her life. She was able to return to Forestview after a hospital stay and be cared for as a Hospice patient. I am grateful for the tender love and care by all to my mother and our family.
[Name removed] and the team at Forestview Manor have taken great care of my mom from day 1. They made the process super easy for me and more importantly, my mom says she loves her new home. The entire team is very responsive and never makes me wait to get my answers.
My father, brother and I were greeted warmly by [name removed]. The staff was friendly and outgoing. We had a sausage role with potatoes and summer squash, with chocolate ice cream for dessert. The facility is dated with small rooms with small closets. The low level assisted living section has evolved from a residence with several add one over the years with a maze of hallways. The low level, mid level and high level areas are separate buildings .They did have a $ 500.00/month discount for the month of May.
There seems to be a good level of personal care here and a lit of activities. The only issue for us is the physical layout as our loved one has spatial memory issues and the building layout takes a bit of navigation.
We are very happy with the care from this nice community. The staff and the care are outstanding. We like the menu of the healthy meals that are served. The community is clean with a nice environment. They offer a nice list of activities for the residents. We would recommend the care and the value to other families.
One of the first thing I looked at while touring facilities is the cleanliness and lack of odors. This includes the staff and residents. Forest View is clean and the residents living there always look well cared for. The pricing is always a shock but I will say Forest View is 1/2 price of other facilities. The staff have been extremely helpful and provide updates daily to assist with the turmoil of admitting family. Nursing came and met parents prior to moving in and they also came and picked them and belongings up for move in to decrease the stress. This was very helpful. Thank you to the team at Forestview for your care and support.
Nice place
Very nice place. The staff is very friendly, but there was a bit of sticker shock when we signed up.
Very nice place.
When I toured Forestview Manor I was not impressed. The community has been declining and it is not very clean. I saw house cats sleeping on people's beds. They are also a little more expensive than the nicer community we chose.
Forestview is very nice. The facility is clean and well maintained. The staff is helpful and attentive. There are always plenty of activities going on for the residents to participate in which is great. This is a nice facility.
I am very pleased, and I feel very comfortable having my mom live at forest view. Great staff and the best thing she is happy!!!!!!
The Forestview Manor is an excellent facility. We are very, very happy with it. I think anyone who places their loved one here would be happy. I would absolutely recommend this community. The inside of the facility is always clean. Everyone there is extremely friendly and welcoming. The value is excellent. The care services are excellent as well. My mother is well taken care of. This is a really nice place.
