FL Memory Lane is a very clean community and the staff members are super friendly. We have been very pleased with the care services, and the owner [name removed] is very very attentive to the residents. We do know our loved one is getting a nice hot breakfast in the morning. She loves being outside and even eats her breakfast at times outside. It is a very good value. The only things we don't like is its pretty cold inside and to us the living room is to dim.
They are able to get my loved one to go outside and into the sun. They fix what ever he wants and it is a family run environment. He is always clean and dry and seems to be a lot better than the last facility. I even see my loved one smile. They are also not as expensive as the other facility.
Our family had an in person tour, and we thought the FL Memory Lane was amazing, we had a great tour experience. The only thing that concerned us was there was only 1 nurse there at the time, and we worried if anything happened to that nurse what would happen to the residents, or what back up plan would be in place.
We toured this facility and loved it. Everybody was awesome and very friendly.
We can honestly say, [name removed] was a literal God send to our family for our mother, (my mother in-law) [name removed]. [Name removed]'s original facility was in Tenn, where [name removed] was originally housed. [Name removed] calls a few months later and tells us she was shutting down and relocating to Florida to be near her son. We didn't know what we were going to do about another safe place, as [name removed] was finally comfortable with someone, somewhere. We were all very stressed out, for [name removed], and for us as we all live in different states, with very high care costs and knew we had limited funds. Then out of the blue, [name removed] calls and asks my husband and his brother if she could take [name removed] with her to Florida because she knew [name removed] was not long for the world and she wanted to be there for her until the end.. Who does that?? A saint! She takes amazing care of her patients, treats them with the respect and dignity they deserve. Her prices are very reasonable, and if she needs additional funds for things, as happens with advancing diseases, she let's the family know in advance. [Name removed]not only kept us constantly in the loop with the progression of the disease, she would send us photos of the different fun activities and group or individual outings mom participated in. [Name removed]loved to shop, especially for shoes, because she never was comfortable in any pair she wore. [Name removed]always managed to find a way to take her, not just shopping, she would take her to the beach too, just to get her some fresh air. We know in our hearts mom was in the best place possible for her, had the best care possible, in a super clean, beautiful environment and she felt safe where she was. If not for [name removed] I honestly do not know what would have happened to my family. To me she saved us and [name removed] from unimaginable, worry, sorrow and pain and allowed her to have her remaining days honored and respected in a loving environment. We were so happy [name removed] decided to open a new place in Florida. That means even more people will be able to experience the heart and soul of this amazing woman. I still keep in contact with [name removed], , check in on her, call her, text her, send pictures of the grand-puppies and baby, send her stuff, that is how much she means to me. Will love this woman and her gracious heart forever for saving the lives and sanity all of our family. Best Wishes [name removed]! Sincerely, [name removed]
