I would recommend Evergreen Place to other families without question! Very clean overall. Sometimes they'd be short staffed so garbage and laundry may not be taken care of as timely as planned. This didn't bother us, as we could help with that and preferred they're attention be on the residents. Almost everyone was incredibly friendly, kind and welcoming! You can tell they truly care about the residents and do what they can to meet their needs. The residents gathered outside of the dining room 45 minutes before meals. It always smelled great and they had appetizing options. Our mom enjoyed the food there. There were daily activities and fun snacks. Although it may be somewhat more expensive than some other local options, the amenities, rooms, staff and dining do make the cost difference worth it. It is in a safe and welcoming location too.... Smelled like urine. They promised a lot of things. They were feeding the residents out of a food truck, because the kitchen was down a few months. My loved ones hair was greasy, and did not have a bath in almost two weeks. There was lack of communication with upper management, and they did not return my calls. I would not recommend Evergreen Place to anyone.

Besides the fact that they are in the middle of a complete renovation, I would give them 4.5 out of 5 stars (nobody is perfect!). They're not as fully staffed as they would like to be because people just don't want to work anymore! My mother-in-law lived there for two years before she passed away. She loved it there. But she felt that they gave too much food at meal times. My mother has been there since the end of February of this year, and she seems fine with living there. She's pleased with the meals, and the staff have been helpful to her.
They did not do anything to clean the place. They were supposed to change her sheets once a week, clean her room and laundry. Those things were not done. The food was inedible. The vegetables during the holidays was brown and not green. The noodles and rice were too hard to eat. She lost weight while there. Her medicine was messed up. The aides were very good with her. The place was short staffed during her entire stay. I took my loved one out due to all of these reasons. It was a pretty bad experience.

The quality of care would be much higher if the facility was properly staffed, unfortunately I think that they are grossly understaffed at the moment which is affecting a lot of things.

Compared to other communities this is excellent. Very good value for what is spent and the staff are amazing and communicate well. They have activities like live music, library and arts and crafts for the residents to do. It is hard to find enough staff but this is something that everyone is going through. They also have a lot of renovations going on now.

November 30, 2021Thank you for your kind words about our community. We always strive to provide fulfilling and flourishing lifestyles to the people who call Evergreen Place home. Please let us know if you have any additional feedback for our community.
Our family had an in person tour and Evergreen Place is a beautiful facility. It felt more homey and not institutional, but because of the covid restrictions we were limited on who we could talk to and interact with. However, they did show us the entire community and cleaned out some model rooms for us to see. They had a lot of services, there is a hospital right next door so a lot of convenient service but the price was just way to expensive.

October 22, 2021Hello, thank you for your kind review and high rating of our community. It was a pleasure to have you tour with us. Taking the time to leave your feedback helps us continuously improve as a community - we appreciate you leaving us all of your impressions!
My loved one was admitted and immediately fell. There were times the staff forgot to bring food for my loved one. The door was heavy and my loved one couldn't open the door to the hallway. There was an appointment that was scheduled, and the the staff didn't assist with the call for my loved one, while I was out of town. They allowed both drivers off on the same day my loved one had an appointment. The community told me that if I paid more, I would get better care for my loved one. I feel they lied about everything. They promised me they would help with the special needs of my loved one and they never did. The staff kept telling us that they were short staffed.

The staffing is low and they could use more staff. This maybe due to the pandemic. The staff member and my loved one have issues at least once a week. The community says they give the medication to my loved one; however, they aren't receiving it via this specific staff member. One night it took the staff an hour and a half to respond to a call button request from my loved one.

The hands on care was great. It was just poorly managed, with poor communication and poor leadership.

Beautiful facility and everyone was upbeat, friendly and very helpful. We looked at a studio option and it was adequate. Very clean throughout. Air fresheners in the building bothered me (sensitive to these). Costs seemed quite reasonable for services provided.

My husband is doing well with his move to this community. I do feel he is safe, and in good hands. The staff at this facility is very nice. They are doing a good job taking care of him, and his needs. They do a good job with the cleanliness. Whenever I come to visit everything is nice, and clean. Everything has worked out well for us in this community, and I would recommend it. It is a nice facility.

I have no complaints about the tour I had taken of this place for my loved one. The staff where on time to our tour and made sure to accommodate our needs to the best of our ability. Overall it was a great experience it was just not the right fit in the end decision.

Wonderful facility; I was unsure what Memory Care would be like but it felt safe - a smaller community that would fit well for my mom. Access to all the activities if she wanted to continue to attend larger groups and go on the regular activities but the right mix of both for her changed needs.

This is a nice facility, and my tour of it went pretty well. The community was nice, and clean from what I saw. The staff was friendly, and kind. My questions were answered. Our issue was the room they showed us was too small for my parents. It was good experience overall, and my tour went well.

I was not totally happy with some of the health care dad received while he lived here. He had a medical issue and we did not know who to talk to help with this. It took about four days before they tried to help him. They accommodated his dietary needs. The community is clean and his room was beautiful. They offer daily activities and the residents seem happy. The staff was nice and encouraging. I would recommend this community for a more active person.

The staff are attentive in my loved ones unit. They are accommodating and cooperative. This community does not accept Medicaid so unfortunately we are going to have to move her. We have noticed things are positive when we visit. The community looked clean and it is a good value. I would recommend this community.
