About the facility Danbury of Broadview Heights
Surrounded by lively greenery, Danbury of Broadview Heights is a wheelchair-accessible and pet-friendly senior living community with a homelike ambience. The community is located in the suburban area of Broadview Heights, Ohio, which is less than 20 miles south of Cleveland.
A continuum of care is offered, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care — all accompanied by spacious living accommodations. Customizable care plans are created after an assessment performed by licensed nurses, and that personalized, on-site care is fulfilled by round-the-clock, licensed nurses and companions. In addition to specialized memory care, the community has separate Parkinson’s neighborhoods.
While receiving quality care, residents reside in an on-site studio, one-bedroom, or two-bedroom apartment and enjoy other on-campus pastimes. These homelike apartments have safety features, like accessible showers and emergency response systems, which meet ADA requirements. When residents are not relaxing in their apartments, they can explore homelike amenities and participate in life-enriching activities. Throughout the community are resort-like features, including a movie theater, a spa, an arts and crafts room, a spacious courtyard, and more. While common rooms, like the restaurant-style dining room, encourage socialization, so do activities like trivia, shuffleboard, billiards, cornhole, meditation, manicures, pet therapy, and religious services.

No matter what staff is always available
Aide is very helpful with showering, cleaning, dressing & assisting with balance. During evening hours staff is ALWAYS available to help prepare for bed with comfort & safety. Very happy here!

If your loved one cannot communicate their needs, this is really not really a very nice place
My loved one is selectively mute. As far as the staff is concerned about taking care of my loved one's essential needs, my loved one may as well be invisible. They won't even give them water without me prompting them to do so. . .

Our activity team does hydration pass daily, and a hydration cart is always available daily. We also added a dedicated water station in our memory care living room to provide fresh water for our residents. We toured Danbury of Broadview Heights during our search for an Independent Living facility for our loved one. This facility seemed very nice. The cleanliness was good. However, the apartments were a little bit smaller than some of the other facilities that we toured.

Amazing Staff
The staff is amazing!
They are always available when we call or stop in & makes us feel so important!
There are so many good things they do for the residents.
We went to have a milkshake & everyone laughed & then played the Wii & all the residents really enjoyed themselves.
EVERYONE should be recognized what a Blessing they are to everyone!
I’ve recommended Danbury in Broadview Hts to many people.
They couldn’t have been more helpful & I pray it stays the way it is because they’re doing a fantastic job!
I could go on & on but I’m sure you know how good everyone is working at Danbury!

My family and loved one had a great experience with the community. The staff are kind and caring. Everyone is friendly. There are wonderful activities to assist with socialization of the residents, and the volunteers that help provide these are great. We would recommend the community to others for their loved ones.

What we really like about Danbury of Broadview Heights is that to us it felt like a place to call home and for that we would recommend them to other families. The meals and dining service was really good .

Very Pleased
I tell everybody I think Danbury is very nice, clean and bright, and I'm very pleased with it. So far the care has been good. If anything happens, they call me right away. And they answer the phone when I call with questions. My loved one tells me he loves the meals. It has been a good experience.

Tour of Danbury
I toured Danbury of Broadview Heights and this was my preferred location. The lady we spoke with was completely knowledgeable. We chose Danbury located in Brunswick, but this site was more update than Brunswick. We had to chose the other location because my mom had medical issues and we needed to move her in somewhere ASAP. They were the only one available to accommodate her within a 24 hour turnaround time. It was also the only place she'd actually seen, so she felt more comfortable with that choice. She was unable to tour other places due to medical reasons.

A great place to stay
We chose this facility over others we saw because of the convenient location and when I visited I just really liked the overall facility and atmosphere. They had a lot to offer (which he didn't use) but it was all there. The staff were super helpful. We kept him in respite and they worked with us on the timeframe and were flexible with us. I would definitely recommend Danbury of Broadview Heights to others looking. I would like to move here myself.
