Feels Like Living in a Mansion
The grounds at Creekside Village are nice and provide a nice walking path around the building. There is access to the building at multiple points around, so if walking the full path is too much, the residents can cut through. The meals are fine, sometimes my loved one is frustrated that lunch is always left overs from the prior dinner. It would be nice if breakfast was included. Sometime dinner is not offered if there is a special lunch. That makes it hard when she is left without an option for dinner. The live entertainment is nice. The living room lobby is wonderful for connecting with other residents. The staff is friendly and [name removed], the leasing agent, is so personable and pays attention to how residents are coping long after they sign the lease. It would be nice if there was staff 24 hours. When my loved one locks herself out of her apartment she has to call me to let her in when staff is not there. If she also forgets her phone, she will be out of luck. Overall my loved one is happy there and our family feels welcome.

I love living here
I have lived at Creekside Village for about 7 years. It is a nice, friendly place to live. The residents and staff are easy to get aquainted with, and helpful. The grounds are pretty and we have many resident ducks for the most part of the year, especially when the creek is full. Our wonderful chefs feed us well and many activities and field trips are offered. Stop by and take a tour. Nice place.

Fabulous
My mom lived at Creekside Village Retirement until her homegoing. The day we brought her there to see Creekside it was an immediate we will take it. It was warm cozy and friendly. I liked the fact mom had a storage room so big she had the door removed and she used it for her office. The staff was always kind to me. The last day I was there a lady had fallen in her apartment and she was yelling for help. I immediately shared with her that I was going for help. The response of the staff was quick and the people were so kind and courteous to the situation. The food is great there. I didn't get to meet a lot of the chefs but Walt and Levi were always friendly and very helpful. I am thankful mom was taken care of well. A special thank you to [name removed] who went above and beyond to help us with mom's needs.

Love this place.
The most important thing I would tell others is that the staff really cares for the residents here. They go out of their way to be kind and to try to meet everyone's expectations. They're wonderful.

Mom has found a new community
Mom is very happy over here at Creekside Village. It is an older building but very well kept. It have a very comfortable and homey setting. All staff are extremely friendly as well as the residents, mom fits right in. Mom has been doing all sorts of activities, they have a ton offered. The food is really good, but they have started charging for breakfast which is a big of a disappointment. I would definitely recommend this facility to others.

Would recommend with great central location and good community
They are a great value, compared to other similar facilities. They have a nice staff. Great, central location. The food has a lot of variety. The apartments are updated. Only area that needs any improvement is they need to offer more activities and work at getting the residents more engaged.

Best community.
It is fantastic to live here. Food is awesome. It's pet friendly and lots of places to walk your dog. I have a beautiful apartment with a creek side view. I used to live in another community, so I had a situation where I could compare. Everything about Creekside is better. I pay less for a one-bedroom than my studio at the other community I used to live in. Talk about having your cake and eating it too.

Amazing food!
Creekside Village is known for their food. Their chef has been there for 30 years and keeps the residents happy. The selection, quality, portions, and presentation are an industry best. The staff really cares and they all seem happy. I would recommend Creekside for you or a loved one.

Maintenance men
At Creekside village, the food is amazing because of our great chef. And also our maintenance is taken care of us very nicely and in a very timely manner. They have so much knowledge for everything we need. And are very understanding of our physical difficulties and eager to assist when possible. They make all make my life better at Creekside Village.

[name removed] was superb in setting up our visit and a big plus was the marvelous piano concert we were able to attend! During the intermission we were able to view two apartments shown by the activities director as [name removed] was at her brother’s memorial service. All the staff was friendly and jovial as well. [name removed] kept in touch with me and if the closet and storage space had been larger and a garage provided, this might have been home.

Creekside Village during covid
The staff has been replaced, and since our loved one moved in the management has changed. The people we liked and the reason we chose this place are now gone. We are struggling in the first place to receive good service, the residents are completely isolated, hopefully it improves after covid.

My review of Creekside Village
My mom has been pretty happy here. They have not had any cases of covid at the facility which is huge, they have been very restrictive but it has kept residents safe. They have had a lot of changes due to covid such as staffing, responsiveness, food quality, etc. I do think they are making a big effort and we are happy with our choice.

Of the three places I've toured, this was by far the most beautiful. The campus has four acres and there is a lovely walking path and a pond with ducks. The facility is clean and it's obvious that great care has been taken to give it a homey feel. I left with the feeling of "Summer Camp for Seniors". But, this is a place for *very* independent living -- there are external vendors for aging-in-place, but these must be found and contracted personally at whatever going rate one can find. There are nice choices on the menu, the staff were caring and respectful of the residents not only greeting by name but inquiring how the person was doing, and one of the residents volunteered to me that she'd been there four years and couldn't be happier. Residents seemed happy and I saw several activities going on with engaged residents. There's little flexibility on meal times. Only one meal comes with the rent, and the person must choose which meal they want. Residents get meal tickets that can only be used at that meal. Residents can bring containers to take food back to their kitchenette but if they fall asleep or return late and miss mealtime, they'll need to have a backup in their rooms or make other arrangements. Small pets up to 25 pounds are permitted, but not enthusiastically, I didn't see any pets on my tour. Two days after my tour I received a personal Thank You note. Ladies send Thank You notes. It's that kind of place.

A Place for Mom has scored Creekside Village 9.7 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.

Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
