I think they are super friendly and accommodating. My mom seems to really like it. They have always been ready to help me and answer any questions. My mom likes the food. They very quickly got to know my mom and been able to give her very personalized care.

Charter Senior Living of Edgewood has a very good staff. The cost is similar to other places in the area. The food is good. The room sizes are a little small. They have two screened-in porches for residents to enjoy.

I toured Brookdale, and I really like it. I would say that the office staff was really cooperative. They had an entrance fee that I thought was quite high, and they were willing to reduce his first months rent to sort of lessen the blow of the entrance fee. Really the reason I did not choose them is because they do not accept state aid.
