The staff has been really good and very supportive of my more difficult mother. I feel like occasionally we have to check in with them about things we notice that they may have missed. Cache Valley is a nice place. The community is very good, and the people are nice and friendly. It's a good place to go, especially for the money. I think they were having a hard time keeping staff because of Covid. But the staff who were there were very nice. And they had good activities.

This is a lovely, homey facility. The majority of the staff are wonderful and caring. The problem is there are not enough of them. Residents can wait 1 - 2 hours at times for an aide once they push their call buttons. Go at meal times and watch how long the residents who need help back to their rooms have to wait for someone to come get them and take them back...it can be 1 1/2 hours! Residents keep filling up rooms, but aides are not increased to help handle the extra load. Most residents are very high assistance, (in walkers, wheelchairs, etc and need help). There is also a very high turnover of aides, it doesn't help that it is the lowest paying facility in the valley. Owners care more about their bottom line then residents well being. When extra short on aides, (someone doesn't show up for their shift) , there are a high incident of falls.

My friend is doing well since his move into the Cashe Valley Assisted Living. The staff is all friendly and the place is kept clean. I have been there during meal time, and the food is served in an adequate amount. I would recommend this place to anyone looking.

I took a tour and thought that the community was nice. The staff was good at showing us everything and answering all questions. I was impressed with the community. My loved one would have went here, but they had no open spaces.

A Place for Mom has scored Cache Valley Assisted Living 7.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
