They are doing a pretty good job especially under the hard circumstances and I think that they deserve high marks. They have a mindset to do a good job and it really carries through, that is impressive to me.
Nice and friendly although they are short staffed, with that medication does not come on time and that's a big deal, the food is pretty repetitive and could be a little better.

I had the opportunity to visit this community a few weeks ago. [Name removed] was kind enough to show me around. I have visited over 100 communities in my career so I know a good one when I see it. Everyone (staff and residents) knew everyone's name. Both staff and residents were smiling and having a great time. While I did not have the opportunity to sample the food, two residents said it very good and the menu had plenty of choices. I highly recommend you make the community one of your stops if you are looking in Phoenix or Scottsdale for senior living!
staff is very friendly and helpful. I love living here
I like the way it's laid out and I like the apartments. I like the way the buildings are laid out. The way the activities rooms are and the landscaping. I also like the people. I like the dining room. I am very happy
Living at Brookdale is the best. I appreciate all the employees.
The most caring staff I know of. They make each day a joy to be here
Brookdale is an A+. Everyone is so friendly and so helpful. I'm glad I've moved here.
We toured during Covid, which made it difficult no matter where you went. This one was not far from us, but it was older, and very expensive. It had memory care, which was nice if you need that transition down the road. On the tour, they were very accommodating. They let us come in and did some video Facetime of the rooms. They did the best they could under the circumstances.
This community is a really good community, they have really good communication and they are very responsive. The rooms are a nice size, but the food could be better and more accommodating to special diets but it's better than most. I would definitely recommend this community.
Brookdale feels like one big family, especially between residents and staff. Numerous employees have been working at this location for over 10 years so they really get to know the residents. I found the care and compassion of their staff was above and beyond. I highly recommend Brookdale.
The employees were very nice and seemed to like their job. The new memory unit was a little small, and the ceiling wasn't very high. Maybe 7 feet high. The renovation was beautiful done. Unfortunately for me, It lacked that warm comfortable feeling.

The best! :)
Fun, fun, fun!
Love our community
Overall, this was a good choice for my sister's care. The only real problem is the staff's tendency to let my sister intimidate them and allow her to refuse services such as bathing and cleaning that she truly needs, and that we pay for. Bathing twice weekly is a minimum to maintain her health. Otherwise, she tends to get UTI's that degrade her overall physical and mental health.
My wife and i joined the Brookdale Paradise Valley, Arizona community shorty over three years ago in order to be close to family members who also live close to the community. As observers and recipients of the services offered here, we are well aware of the demands made by those of us who are dealing with the various problems that apparently area [art of the aging process. We truly commend each and every one of the staff here in Brookdale for their patience and their "always" uplifting attitude as they carry on their daily work in ministering to the requests and needs of the residents. Keep on keeping on! God Bless
My father liked this place but he said that t was dated and the apartments were chopped up.
I toured this facility while looking for a place for my Mother. I thought this community was okay but my mom was more independent than the other people here. The community felt more like an assisted living facility and more institutional because of the way it was set up. It’s a very well established place and they do a nice job of keeping it clean. This place was more expensive and the rooms weren’t as nice. I would recommend this facility to people who need more assistance.
This facility is wonderful and my Mother really enjoys it here. The staff members are very friendly and helpful. The food is great and they have a lot of activities for my mom to do. They offer things like concerts, arts/crafts, and field trips. The accommodations here are really nice and all of the rooms are updated and new. However, since they are new, they're still working out the kinks but seem to be doing a great job. I would recommend this facility to other families.
