Wonderful facility and staff. I would highly recommend it.
The memory care unit is only part of the facility and the staff is there for all residents. I love the therapy cats and the staff is very friendly. I don't think they are fully trained for late stage dementia however.

High employee attrition
15 months was way too long but gave the ED a fair chance to improve matters. Unfortunately, this did not occur. Short work schedules for both the ED and Business Manager. Lost their Chef and many others.

Realizing what's best for your loved one's safety, independence and dignity
My mom was previously a resident at Brookdale Bath and the overall experience at this facility was patiently good. I was in an emergency-type of situation, along with being overwhelmed. The staff at Brookdale really helped guide me through the process of this new normal for my mom as well as for myself. I would recommend Brookdale Bath for Memory Care to others.

Not Perfect
They don't answer my emails, and don't communicate very well. I would not recommend this community. The food is okay. They need to improve on communicating. Overall, I am not happy.

The staff cares about the patients
They are doing a good job with all residents. They do personal cleaning, and clip their finger nails. They do a good job. The staff has been very helpful. The food is okay but it's more nutricious rather than fancy. They have activities, and sometimes take the residents out on a various occaions, and they have a live musican on Friday's. It's expensive but good value for the money, and my loved one is getting better care, than they were being at home. The staff tries to bare with the patients, they really do care and try to do their best.

Brookdale Bath is a nice place but too far location wise to have to go back and forth to visit our loved one. Where she is at now we go to visit every single week and the drive here would have been too far. Other than that it looked like a great facility.

I had a pretty good tour experience with Brookdale Bath. The reason I did not choose this facility was because I am a maintenance guy and I could tell it was not kept up as well as another place I was looking into. It is also not as new though.

Highly recommend, great experience
We went with Brookdale Bath because when I interviewed them I liked the staff, they were willing to transfer her out of a memory care if she got better. They got to the hospital quickly to do her assessment which was very nice as well. They do have some resident cats and my mother in law loves cats. The location is great for us. They lost their chef and they have just hired a new one. They admitted that the chef was not very good and we liked that they were transparent about it. I do think they could use some updates on the rooms, but the one she had was great. They have board meetings with the residents every month to discuss likes and dislikes of the facility. Every Friday they have a cocktail hour, their variety of activities are great. I would definitely recommend and already have.

not appropriate for bed ridden patients
I am rating this bases on my experience with Brookdale and my mother who was bed-bound. this community is not appropriate for bedbound residents and really is only ok for mobile and active seniors. I would not recommend it for seniors who are no mobile or active. The community was not honest with us about the pricing, there were increases when there was no additional care needed or they increased it and did not provide the care.

The food was not good. They have lots of activities, they keep you busy. The cost is reasonable. I would recommend them to a friend. Staff is good. My mom was there for respite stay in the secured memory care Room was good size.

This is a larger community and it seems like they take good care of it. They have a lot of nice common areas and a beauty shop on site. The people we met were friendly. This community was just a little farther away than the community we chose.

Not the best
My Dad ended up here when we had limited options for putting him into assisted living as was needed for him. BB seemed Ok, but it was not. It was winter & the room he was in constantly overheated and they could/ would not remedy it. Staff were friendly, but not consistent in care or knowledge of him as a resident. His only solace was he had quiet there.

Choices for dad
We toured this community for care for my father. The community had a lot of good options available. We did want a community that would be easy for my father to be able to get around. This is a clean environment and they offer a good menu. We would suggest that families tour this community for the care of a family member.

Terrible
It's s shame that assisted livings are taking more acute patients but don't have the staff to care for them. My dad would have to wait up to 45 minutes for someone to come to his room after he put his light on. The aides were wonderful but overworked and could not possibly care for the amount of patients they had. One LVN for 60+ patients is ridiculous. I found management totally unaware of what was actually going on. I'm so sorry my dad was in this place.

To dark and depressing!
This was another one of the depressing places that we saw. The community was so dark and there really wasn't much going on there. They also were about to begin remodeling, but who wants to live somewhere that they are remodeling.

Great Respite Stay Experience
My brother's respite stay experience here at this community is going very well. He is enjoying his time here, and has even gotten involved in the community with the activities they offer. I know he is in good hands. They have a great staff, they have been very helpful. You can tell they really take the time to get to know their residents. The food is very good, he is pleased with the meals. It has been a great experience so far, and I would recommend this community.

made mom feel special
Overall the concept is really good and they do a good job.
There have been a thing or two where they could improve. For one, it took them forever after my mother moved in for the bed sheets to be cleaned. There was always an excuse and a promise that it would be done tomorrow. This is not a problem now, but it was for a while.
Everything else is good. They are very accommodating. They gave my mom presents on her birthday and have done various things (like preparing a nice special meal) to make her feel extra loved and special.
