Atria Hertlin Place is a beautiful facility and very nice. I really like the green scapes. It is difficult for my mother to be here because I am not able to get medical aids and she needs more help. They did just increase the rent 20% which was pretty shocking. I felt that they were very good with the family and super hospitable. I was able to stay with her in her apartment when I came to visit. They did just add something called Atria Home Care and they are working out the kinks with that. It looks clean in the main areas but they do not have enough staff to keep up with the weekly room cleanings. They hired outside cleaning services to come in so they are definitely trying, it just does not happen on a regular basis. The maintenance department has been great. Good with maintenance. We had a nice tour experience with Atria Hertlin Place. The turn off for my loved ones was the fact that the apartments did not have washers and dryers inside of the units, they would have had to use a shared community laundry room and they did not like that.
The tour was good and the community was good in its own way. We found a community that was all inclusive and this was something that we were looking for with our loved one. My loved one needed medication assistance and more and having somewhere that did not charge extra for this was a benefit.
My loved one did not have a good experience at this community. She felt like there was not enough attention to the covid restrictions and they recently just had a break out of a few cases. Prior to the outbreak I noticed that none of the staff were wearing mask and I reached out to the director and she stated that they were following guidelines. However, with the at risk people in the community I don't understand the risk and I felt they should still be in mask. One of the workers did not know about the outbreak and we were amazed they did not communicate this with her, we felt like no one was in control. This was just a serious problem for us. This community was friendly and clean it was mainly the covid situation

I really liked the person who first interviewed with us. She was good at giving us contact information for our various questions, including financial. She was very thorough and open to phone calls. The staff all go out of their way to say hello. And that's mirrored in the people who live there. They're all very friendly. They make a point of saying hello to newcomers and were very friendly to my loved one. Our one area of concern is the food. They're not giving fruits and vegetables at all, even with the evening meal. They might be concerned about waste, but I think it's very important that older people have their fruits and vegetables. She's been very happy with the activities. They always seem to have something going on, which is great. I like that it gets them out and talking to other people. She really likes the exercise classes. She's doing really great since she's been there. I've seen a lot of improvement in her. I would love to see them be able to get out locally as a group eventually. The cost is high, but theirs is lower than other places. I feel its an excellent value, and definitely well worth every penny she's paying.

I love everything about the facility and the immediate staff. My husband complains regularly about the food quality and quantity. Apparently many residents dislike food. It's not the staff but food service used by Atria

This is a very nice community. Your loved one will probably enjoy living here. The staff are friendly and are responsive to questions or concerns. Small bag lunch and cereal bowl due to COVID and the dinner is served in a dining room with a menu. The outside grounds are beautiful with acres of property.

This was one of the hardest decisions to move Mom out of her house of 54 years into an independent facility. The Sales Director [name removed] ,truly held our hand EVERY step on the way!She helped us navigate through the process of showing Mom the beautiful amenities that the facility has to offer as well as the beautiful individual apartments. There is even a vegetable garden outside which Mom loved!Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! The DiTommaso Family

The community is very nice, clean, and friendly. If you are looking for care and still be independent this would be a good place to be. Movies, walking, bingo, arts and crafts and more are a few activities for the residents to participate in.

My dad has lived here for 3 years. My family is so happy with the choice to move him to Atria Hertlin. He was living alone, barely cooking for himself and now he has friends and nutritious meals. I don’t have to worry about him like I did when he lived alone. There is a lot of love and compassion from the staff and I know they treat him well.

The minute you pull into the winding driveway you get the feeling of home. I toured the community for my grandmother and couldn’t have been more pleased. We were greeted with smiling faces by staff and residents. The property is beautiful and well maintained and gives a sense of calm and peacefulness. Grandma is moving in 2 weeks from now!

My mother-in-law has been in his facility for nearly 3 years. She has received excellent care, coupled with an extremely competent and compassionate staff. This facility is extremely well run and every time I visit my mother in the law there is always an activity going on, the residents seem very happy and the staff is always engaging. I would have no hesitancy in placing your loved one in this beautiful facility run by wonderful caring people.

We did not have a good experience, especially with his medications. They were not able to follow the correct administration of his medications. They asked for a security deposit but it is a community fee, it is not refundable at the end of the stay which we were not told.
I am an [age removed] year old resident of the Atria Hertlin Place. I was immediately treated like family by caring, friendly and loving staff. I made many friends and I love the activities we do together. My apartment is spacious, clean and cleaned once a week by cleaning staff. My family is close to where I live and they are happy I am here, for the same reasons as I. It is safe, secure, friendly and they have been dilligent in keeping us safe from CoVid. I couldn't be happier.

I am writing on behalf of my entire family when I say this is the most wonderful community, run by the most caring, informative, lnowledgable staff that we've come across. We have been looking for a community for our mother that will keep her engaged with friends, activities, love and support and we found it here at the Atria Hertlin Place. We would never want to see our mother anywhere else and feel blessed to have her in this community. The Atria Hertlin Place provides spacious apartments, with the amenaties of a 5 star hotel. All the staff is wonderful! [name removed] offers careful guidance in the most friendly, caring way. We are totally blown away by her attention to detail and how she knows the people in this unique community so well. Mom has made life long friends, loves all the meals and most of all loves being active. She is living her best life! And we feel Blessed

The staff works very hard to get to know the residence personally and helps with the transitions., The communication is great between the community and the staff. They have an app that you can check in with your loved one. I would recommend this community to others
