Your loved one has many opportunities to participate in activities and commune with their peers, but motivation plays a major part in them taking advantage of all that Aston Gardens has to offer.

What really stood out to us was the longevity of the staff and their overall willingness to help our mother. Every morning at 10am they have exercises classes where you can sit or stand. They have bingo and always a ton of different card games. Every night they change between movies and art classes. Based on our experience so far with Aston Gardens we would absolutely recommend them to other families.

This community was not as nice as the one I picked now for my loved one. We were looking for something different.
We are very happy with the Aston Gardens community, the people there seem to be very happy and welcoming to all the newcomers. Generally the meals are very good, the quality of the meals are really good, but they are having some staffing issues in the dining room. They have cut back the hours for eating and sometimes the residents to have long wait times. There are also a lot of activities, games and tons of participation.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a wonderful tour experience
We did not have a good tour experience with Aston Gardens. The communication with staff was lacking and they made my parents feel uncomfortable. There was no follow up after the tour which I am grateful for.
They are absolutely fantastic. Every single thing about it has been amazing, starting from the moment I turn off into the neighborhood. It looks like I'm going into a resort. And Mom calls it the closest to paradise she'll ever be. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The apartments are perfect. The bedroom and closet are nice and big. The bathroom is very appropriate for her safety. They keep things very, very clean. She has her own screened-in deck where she can sit and read. It's just beautiful. The food is delicious and very appropriate for a good, healthy diet. There is absolutely nothing negative I could say about Aston Gardens. It's been an amazing opportunity for Mom to be there.

We would have went here if we did not find the community that we found now. The person that gave the tour was not really familiar with what all was going on in the community. This community was very dated and just did not get the right vibe. The tour guide did not know anything and we flew in for the appointment and we would have liked if he was more prepared.
When my dad got here, he was very closed off. After moving in, his demeanor has completely changed. He's very involved with the community. They make sure there is a lot for the residents who live there to do. They provide transportation everywhere, to the bank, pharmacy, doctor's office, wherever they need to go. The menu is phenomenal. Recently I had brunch with my dad, and it was fabulous. They provide a sick day service as well. So they'll provide a couple of special meals for you if you're not feeling well. They have a cleaning service that comes in once a week, and they wash linens and towels and remake his bed. They do a wonderful job and are extremely friendly. They'll even clean the sliding glass door tracks and wash the windows. And this is a weekly service that's 100% included. I couldn't have asked for a better place for him to live. It's independent, but it puts my mind at ease knowing these people are here to help him.

The community is open to feedback and really listen to the residents. The communication is very good between the staff and the family is very good. The admin staff does what it takes to accommodate and look at each situation and determine what options there are. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.
