Before covid I used to volunteer here at Arden Courts for memory care support groups and I would absolutely recommend this community to other families. If it wasn't for the location and it being to far away our loved one would be here now. The place is immaculately clean. They have a wonderful set up over there, there are little areas that are all decorated differently which is extremely creative. One area may be decorated to resemble a library and another area will be decorated to resemble a cottage beach. The residents basically have free rain inside and can go to all these different areas. They have a ton of different activities, the staff are very caring, kind and patient with their residents.

I am the medical surrogate for my aunt who is 99 years old with advanced dementia. Sadly we live hundreds of miles apart. She has been at Arden Court in Palm Harbor for just over one year. I have been able to visit her and am fully confident that she is receiving the best possible care. The staff has made tremendous efforts to stay in regular touch with me, and goes above and beyond to facilitate my phone conversations with my aunt. The care they exercise to make her comfortable and happy is exceptional. I cannot say enough about this excellent memory care facility.
It's been a fairly good experience. It's a nice facility. There's a huge outdoor area with gazebos and tables and umbrellas. You can walk quite a long ways out there without running into a fence. It's very secure, and you can go out and spend as much time out there as you like, which is really nice. They constantly have a lot of activities, even after dinner. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They do everything they can to help me and help my loved one. I wish they would pay a little more attention to her hygiene. I've had some conversations with them and am waiting to see how they respond. But other than that, everything has been pretty good.
The activities are opening back up which is great, and the value is completely worth it. We would not put our loved one anywhere else we would absolutely recommend this community to other families.
It is beyond my expectations. We had to fight my loved one to go to a place like this. My loved one hasn't complained about the community. I would highly recommend this community to anyone. The staff has found a way to keep her content, well beyond what I had hoped for. I am able to have virtual calls with my loved one. The staff are very responsive to calls from family members. They go out of their way to assist the residents and families. There was a staff member that went and visited my loved one that was in a different community for a bit due to COVID. This staff member brought my loved one her favorite meal to accommodate the brief change
My mom's situation, which basically happened overnight; and making the decision to place her in a facility has been one of the hardest things I have ever done in my life. The staff at Arden Courts has been professional, caring, compassionate, and thorough. I am a health care worker myself, and very particular with the care I receive. When I was looking for a facility for my mother, I had to go by word of mouth, reviews online, and other health care professionals that I knew. I did my research. I am so VERY pleased with my decision. My mom tells me how well she is cared for every time I see her. The staff at Arden Courts are experts in memory care and know how to engage this population in activities to keep their brains active. They have become like family. Phone calls, texts, and emails are answered quickly. Your loved ones best interest and safety are their goals, along with helping to meet the family's needs. Thank you Arden Courts for taking such good care of my mom.
I want to thank everyone from the Administration on down, who had any type of care for my mom. She had fantastic care at Arden and I know she could be a "handful”. Mom had a mind of her own and then you add the dementia to this was tough. Mom always said the most devastating part of her life was not being able to drive because of her eye sight. You then add the hearing loss and dementia and you have an unhappy camper, but rightly so. I could never understand how she took her 3 mile walks to eat Wendy's. Upon getting a call from the Sheriff's office about mom's safety quickly took a trip down to Florida to move her. We picked Arden Courts because of her buddy, Ray who lived at the facility near Oakhurst and donated the putting green that currently sits at Palm Harbor. Mom always spoke highly of Arden Courts and it was a no brainer when mom got sick and we needed to make a decision to move her somewhere she could be safe. I was happy that mom was able to make friends of both the
My sister and I had been taking turns caring for our Mom in our homes when we realized that, despite our best efforts, we could no longer continue to do so. After some research, we settled on admitting her to Arden Courts of Palm Harbor. Due to the pandemic this was a difficult decision,as we were placing her into a facility sight unseen and then being unable to visit her for an unknown length of time. [names removed] walked us through the process step by step, always helpful and encouraging, very understanding of how difficult the situation was for us. They addressed our numerous questions, including the precautions they were taking during COVID. Since her admission, Mom has adjusted beautifully. [names removed] made sure Mom has a lovely, comfortable room and sent us pictures of the end result as well as pictures of Mom in activities. It is clear that the staff considers her to be an individual, not just a room number, and they understand how difficult it is for her to be away from us. They go to great lengths to cater to her special likes, such as her love of music and of ice cream. We cannot say enough good things about the kindness, personal attention (putting her hair in rollers!), and care they give mom every day. The nurses, caregivers and administrative staff are all readily available by phone and are always willing to answer questions, give updates, and arrange phone calls and FaceTime meetings for us. Even though it remains difficult to be separated from Mom, we are truly grateful for the assurance and peace of mind we have of her well being at Arden Courts of Palm Harbor. Thank you all so much!!
We can never adequately express or thank you enough for all of the ways in which you are wonderful. We know how blessed we are to have such kind, caring, and outstanding people taking care of our mother. Not only during these times (COVID-19) but always. You are in our prayers, not only to support you and keep you all healthy and safe.but as a treasure and blessing always.
My mother resides at Arden Courts. There are special people that have been present throughout mom's hard times as well as the lighter days. There are so many special caregivers but one is extra special. [Name removed] treats each resident with respect and engages them with normal. meaningful conversation and activities. She is patient and allows them to be as independent as possible. Doing this preserves their dignity. I'm thankful for all the staff, however [name removed] is truly unbelievable.
I have been remiss in not taking the time previously to thank you and the entires staff at Arden Courts for the wonderful care, attention, and respect that all of you have shown to each of the residents. About a year and a half ago. I made the decision to place [name removed] at Arden Courts. During that time I have had the pleasure to meet and talk with many of the employees. I can tell you without any reservations that all of them have been helpful, understanding and caring in their day to day performance in assisting all of the residents. Your "Team" at Arden Courts is the "BEST." I can tell you that placing [name removed] at Arden Courts is perhaps the best decision I have ever made. I will never stop thinking and praying for the entire staff, and all of the residents, that you all remain healthy and safe during this difficult time that the coronavirus has created throughout the world. Please extend my thanks to the entire staff for their dedication and caring they provide on a daily basis to all of the residents. I look forward to when I can visit my sister and at the same time be able to thank all of you in person for the truly great job you are doing. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. Thanks...
I have spent a lot of time thinking about all the work you are doing. The strength you all possess to continue giving such good care to our loved ones is just staggering. I realize these COVID times must make your job more challenging. I know "thank you" must seem like a shallow and empty phrase by now but from the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking care of my mom.
I thank God my son [name removed], daughter [name removed] and I took the time to check out a place for [name removed]. We found the perfect place for her at Arden Courts. all of your people are so attentive to the patients that it feels like home to them. Heck [name removed] and I spent so much time with [name removed] it felt like home to me. I just want you to know that my family and I will be forever grateful for your making her final days enjoyable. I promise to stop by when this virus clears up.
Dear [names removed] and all Arden Court caregivers, [Name removed]'s family would like to take this opportunity to express our deepest thanks for all the loving care you gave my mother during her three plus years with your Arden Court family. Finding you answered our prayers that she would be surrounded by dedicated caregivers who had her best interests at heart. You loved her, entertained her, provided meals she enjoyed with other residents, provided medical care and even let her feel productive dusting the hand rails. Your entire staff always treated Mom with dignity and made her happy to live at Arden Court. Your became her extended family and her words of praise about each of you to me was an endorsement of her happiness. She thrived on all your smiles and appreciated your many ways of assisting her. We know the last few months necessitated a great deal of extra care but everyone stepped up to the plate and never complained. Thank you so much. I'll never be able to express how touched I was the last couple of days Mom was with us in Arden's care. So many of the staff and caregivers came by to share their personal stories about Mom and to express their sympathy. And [name removed] was kind enough to keep goodies nearby with water. We were touched by your sympathy care and lovely plant. The plant will live on as a testament of the wonderful mother God blessed me with each time I see it. And will remind us all of how blessed we were to have her in Arden Court until the call came to her Heavenly home. Once again, all of [name removed]'s family thank you for everything you did for us when we were no longer able to care for her in our home. Loving and blessings, [names removed]
During the summer of last year I visited several memory care facilities in the area. First of all I like the "homey" feeling of the facility. I really thought my sister would feel comfy there. Having met many of the employees I felt [name removed] would receive the best care I wanted for her. During my recent visit in early March I have no doubt hat all of the employees are "top notch". I do have to give a special thank you to [name removed] for over the past many months for her help, caring, guidance and assistance provided to me for making this journey for my sister as comfortable and safe as it can be for her. Thanks to all - In the future I hope to be able to thank more of you personally.
Excellent clean facility with dedicated staff and many entertaining activities. The meals are adequate but could be improved. Great building layout with common areas to visit your family.
We felt AC care model was a perfect fir for my mom. We loved the layout and how at home it made us all feel very comfortable. The important aspect is how you are strictly focused on continuous activities and ways to promote the resident's independence. We are very pleased that we found a "home environment" residency for my mom. Glad to have well trained staff also. We can not thank [name removed] enough for her assistance, professionalism, kindness and welcoming. She was and is superb. Her knowledge was outstanding! Our thanks to [name removed], [name removed] to all they have done along with [name removed].
My husband has lived at Arden Courts for 3 years. I am very grateful that he has a place to live that he is comfortable with. The things I value most are: the homey atmosphere, the activities provided for the residents and family, the attention and respect he receives from caregivers and office staff, the quality of care is good and the directory staff are attentive to family. Health Care is very good, good is good, cleaning staff good. I am grateful.
