Value for cost
What they purported they would provide for the cost was an excellent value, but what they actually provided was not a good value. If I had the opportunity to put a loved one there again, I would not. I think everybody had good intentions, but I never saw those actualized. The residents and the families of the residents that we talked to raved about them, but my experience is not what I observed other people to be experiencing.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. It is a good place to go. They are very clean and friendly here. I have two loved ones in the community. They have had a turnover in cooks and the food isn't that good for my loved ones. Activities include: bingo, games, crafts, movie nights, and more for the residents to participate in.
My brother and I were very impresses with Arbor Palms. [name removed] was accommodating, the phones are always answered promptly and everyone appears to be informed and well oriented. We observed staff working with residents, we received spontaneous feedback from family members who were visiting their loved ones, we observed residents doing independent activities. This was a somewhat spontaneous visit so nothing was staged. [name removed] took as much time as was needed to review options, protocols, procedures, etc and was caring, respectful and amenable to our requests. My brother and I feel that this will be a great environment for my sister-in-law. The daily activities are well thought out, and most importantly, the staff is attentive and appear well oriented to the needs of their residents.
We chose Arbor Palms because of the friendliness of the staff members that I spoke too and the price was more affordable than others we looked into. The room sizes here are adequate for my dads needs. Overall, I would recommend them.

Thank you for taking the time to review our community, Nelynda. It's great to hear that our team provided excellent service and that you would recommend us to others. Thank you for considering us!
The activities director does a great job of keeping the residents busy. The admin is absolutely awesome. They have a system set for video recording so you can talk to your loved one. They have had an excellent plan in place for covid from the beginning. I would recommend this facility to others
Very positive experience! Staff were very nice and helpful. Willing to work with budget somewhat and the best part was [name removed] was ready to move in yesterday.
My husband and I toured the facility while looking for a place for his uncle. [Name removed], the director is very helpful and extremely nice. The staff seemed friendly. The room and the building looked outdated but the estimated cost quoted to us was reasonable for that community. I like to thank A place for Mom for helping us with the search for a place for my husband uncle.
Short on aides...causes wait time of two hours when bell rung. Always out of tp.
Absolutely great, was initially concerned as the price was "reasonable", but our concern was misplaced. The staff, facility, services has been outstanding! No concerns at ALL!
We were extremely stressed and apprehensive in selecting a facility for my Father In Law. After a brief discussion with "A Place for Mom", they provided us with a selection of various assisted living facilities in our area. We visited 4 of the 5, then visited 3 others that we had been referred to by our friends. We felt Arbor Palms was more accommodating than the others, most of which were more expensive. We then took our FIL to see the top 3 we visited. Then after the visits, we had a family meeting to select the most desirable facility. It was unanimous we all liked Arbor Palms. Now six weeks later, we are extremely pleased with our choice. The facility is extremely clean, food is very good, and there are many activities for the residents. The staff seems to be endless on their patience and extremely well trained and professional. Ironically 4 months prior to our need I participated in a focus group survey, as it turned out it was a research effort being sponsored by A Place For Mom. I was less than supportive of their mission and concept. Boy was I wrong! They too have been nothing less than phenomenal, when WE actually were confronted with our families need. I wouldn't want to imagine what this situation could have been!!! Thank You So Much.
No parking/Unsafe in case of emergency
The advisor was great. Very nice and knowledgable. Unfortunately, it is farther from our home than we would like and they dont really have a place for dad to walk much at all. It was a bit outdated and older looking.
This facility was nice and the price was good. However, the location wasn’t ideal. In some ways, it wasn’t very upscale but it wasn’t bad at all. The people seemed nice, the residents seemed to like being there, and, for the most part, the rooms were nice as well. If you live closer, then this place would probably be great. It just didn’t work for our location needs.
The place is very nice and staff was friendly and interacted well with residents. Only thing keeping me from choosing this place was their parking lot was not big and people were double parking and blocking route. Also, even though they allow pets, there is no place for the residents to take their pets to do their business except in front of the building. I do not think this would make for a safe situation
I did not like this facility. The rooms were much too small, that didn't even have any closet space.
On the tour I saw that they were a big facility and they had a very tiny room at the end of the hall that would be available for my dad. He would have to go down the hallways, pass the stairs and go down the elevator. I felt that would be too much for him.
There was a slight oder thoughout not up to my standards. Nice staff but small rooms
I'm sure it's lovely but it's over my budget. I clicked on 3 stars only because I never visited the facility and my feedback would not be saved until I clicked on stars.
Nothing was wrong with this community when we went to see it. They were just too far away from me. I saw everything they provided was good.
My mother is still adjusting since her move into this community, we are not sure if it will work out. She did mention to me there was a lot of complaints about the food. The cleanliness is good, but it is just an older place, with old popcorn ceilings. It needs some upgrading. The also need a courtyard area so that the residents can go outside and have an area to sit.
