It is very clean. My my loves it here. The staff and the residents are really loving people. We are happy with it. My mom loves the food here. There are physical therapy, exercise classes, bible study, chapel, prayer group, and more for residents to choose from to participate in.
We have had a good experience here at Rowntree Gardens. We do zoom calls once a week and have a support group called Garden Memory Care for loved ones who have dementia in the facility. They are directed by a nurse and she has been just great. The staff members here go above and beyond just the call and have worked their hardest to keep their residents safe from COVID. The facility has multiple levels of care. We have eaten here before and the meals are great. They also provide tons of activities for the residents to participate in and they are keeping them busy. We are very happy with the care and communication here and would recommend it to others.
The 2 rooms I saw were shabby and dark. They did not even have tile in the kitchen.
The provide best care anywhere. It is a great organization I'm blessed to have my dad there. he has been there over a year, and the staff are always attentive, notices everything, and notify me. When he was living on his own he was just existing, now at Rowntree Gardens he is living again. The staff are super friendly and amazing. The nursing staff are fantastic with an onsite clinic. There is an onsite PT gym. The grounds at Rowntree are magnificent with walking paths, outdoor gathering area, and well maintained gardens. It is a faith based community run by the society of Friends.
The staff are friendly and caring. They are very responsive to the residents needs and our families concern. The food good with a nice variety and restaurant style dining. We chose this community because of its proximity to our family and we just felt a good vibe in the community. We toured and felt very comfortable with her placement there.
Me [name removed] is so personable and so helpful, she was clear and making the financial part of our tour a simple way to understand., we loved everything about this facility., everything was on sight , so very beautiful and so much room to take walks, it truly felt warm. We’re trying to think of anything we would want to change for mother in law needs.. nothing.
I really like having my parents at Rowntree Gardens. My dad has a history of falling and lived 1 1/2 hours away. It was always very stressful trying to handle that and their other health issues from a distance. My dad fell right after moving into Rowntree. Their staff checked him out, had the paramedics check him and scheduled three days of follow up with him then contacted me. It was such a relief knowing that everything was already taken care of. The staff is great, the grounds are beautiful and their unit is quite nice. We all love the sunroom! The only thing I can think of that might need improvement would be that the common hallways need a facelift. The paint is old, dreary and chipped in some places and the carpet and bench cushions are outdated.
This is for their Skilled Nursing area. Only 1 RN a few LVN the remainder CN's. The communication between family and them and my dad's doctor is terrible. They seem to look bothered if I asked a question or if my dad needed assisted to use the bathroom. Do NOT use their laundry, we have lost clothes and socks. We used this facility because he likes the assisted living area and now we are thinking twice.
I went on a tour here and the staff was nice and helpful. They answered all of my questions. This was a really big place. There was a lot of activities going on. The garden was huge. There were to many people in one area it looked congested. I would recommend families tour this place before making a decision.
The tour was good and the staff is friendly and helpful. They answered all of my questions. We liked it and heard good things about the medical staff. It wasn't a fixed rate everything was an add on and seemed it would get to pricey for us and my grandpa wasn't comfortable with that.
