Antebellum on Arlington is a vey good fit for my Mom. Clients are of diverse cultures, which is a beautiful thing. My 81 year old African American Mom was very, very apprehensive about "other races" and has now come to the conclusion that there are good and bad in every race and she genuinely loves everyone there. She is very active in the daily activities. My Mother was totally against interacting in any activity or devotion . Now she looks forward to all of the activities. She says "This is my home now and we help each other along the way." She even gave away a special Teddy bear I had given to her as a gift to "her friend of a different race" she says "I think she really needed it." This makes my heart glad. She's had some ups and downs but Antebellum is a Godsend. [name removed]and [name removed], & [name removed]are hard working, kind people.... Read more

The staff are very friendly. They make a lot of promises. They have a follow up rate of about 60-70%. They don't always follow through on their promises and this could be improved upon. Their responsiveness to the family's questions or concerns is average. They do eventually follow up; however, it is not always prompt. The apartment, housekeeping, changing of linens, utilities, laundry, and all the meals are included in the monthly rate. There is an extra fee for some care assistance they are able to provide for my loved one.
Our loved one absolutely love the meals and dining service
The staff is very friendly. They keep you informed with what's going on with your parent. If your family member is in assisted living, I think they go above and beyond to help them. They do a lot more activities in assisted living, but not very much in memory care. The challenge there is that all of the memory care residents are so very different in their stages and abilities. I just wish Antebellum included the lesser functioning memory care residents in more things, including the musical events.
They have a lot of activities however, my loved one just does not participate often in the activities. I have told my family about this community and they are warm and caring and the communication for their needs are great. They work to make it the best experience possible for the residents.
My wife and I were residents in Antebellum on Arlington for six months. The staff was the best. They always tried to meet our needs. Entertainment and activities were regularly available. Food was very good and varied. Only left because our health deteriorated and required more care [name removed].
The staff truly love the residents here and they take care of all their needs promptly.
This community is clean, the staff is friendly as well as knowledgeable, and the food is awesome.
Love it here the food is amazing.
A friend of mine has lived here for 10 years. She is very loved and well cared for here.
Nice friendly environment. Very well kept on housekeeping part the staff are very friendly, greeted with smile upon entering.
Clean facility, the employees were nice and respectful. The patients seem to be loved by their caregivers.
Great friendly environment all the staff are well trained and great with the residents. I love this facility's great asset to the Macon area. Truly one of the best you will find for your loved one.
The visit was great. The staff and facility is an amazing place to live. They really make life enjoyable for the residents, and safe for all. The activities that allow family and friends to join (prior to Covid-19) is to be commended. I would recommend Antebellum as a quality, loving place to live.
This is a lovely community with a very professional and caring staff. It feels like home when you walk in. The location is central to local churches and hospitals. If you are considering care for yourself or a loved one, this place will give you the peace of mind that your/their needs are being met in a loving, caring, homelike environment.
I toured this four months ago for my grandmother. The facility is well kept and smells extremely nice. The staff are very attentive, and mannered. Residents that I meet were happy and well taken care of. They offered us lunch, which was plated, nice and tasty.
My loved one is well taken care of, Staff does a great job helping him with his daily task.
I have enjoyed living in this community for several years. I especially appreciate the leadership and the staff's concern and care during the Covid-19 pandemic. Before the pandemic I participated in exciting outings and fun activities. I look forward to being able to visit with my family. Until then I enjoy my friendships here.
