All American Assisted Living at Hanson
1074 West Washington Street Hanson MA 02341
Welcome to our beautiful community, All American Assisted Living at Hanson. When you sign up for a tour, you’ll be quick to notice we always have something fun going on. The smell of home-cooked meals permeates our halls, and most importantly, staff and residents truly care for one another. It is important to us that we foster a warm, home-like ambiance and that we enjoy our time living and socializing together.
We offer the following continuum of care: nursing home care, Alzheimer's care, independent living, and assisted living. Our community offers classic assisted living options for seniors in addition to a specialized area for residents with memory care needs. We are an excellent fit for seniors who require assistance with daily tasks and high-quality nursing staff. We are licensed to safely engage any level of dementia or Alzheimer’s, with care plans customized to residents’ needs. Residents who don’t require routine care may want services such as housekeeping, maintenance work, laundry services, etc. -- all of these are available to you. We can also provide support for activities of daily living (ADL) such as help with medication, showering, and food preparation. And, of course, we offer independent living options as well, for residents who choose to continue living as usual, but with the benefit of care options, third-party services, and a built-in social community when they desire it. Free parking and complimentary transportation services are available to everyone!
Our community building and grounds are designed to the highest standards of safety, health, accessibility, all with movement and flow in-mind. The All American Hanson community grounds feature indoor and outdoor recreation areas, an exercise gym, a full-service beauty salon and barber shop, a private dining room, onsite medical services, a library, out-door walking paths, a garden, and more. We serve three home-style meals a day at our restaurant-style dining room but meal service (meals delivered to your living space) is always an option. And, because we know this piece of information is important, pets are always welcome!
For residents who need occupational therapy, we can set you up with a third-party provider. The average monthly expense for this provider is estimated to be $9,467. This is greater than the $7,547 average cost in the Hanson area. The cost for Massachusetts is about $6,530, versus $4,215 nationwide.
In case of emergency or urgent care needed, Brockton Hospital is located 4.82 miles away from our community. According to New Hospital Safety Scores (which assigns letter scores to hospitals nation-wide), Brockton Hospital has earned an A score for safety and compliance. Nearby attractions include countless beaches (lots of whale watching opportunities), Plymouth Rock, the Mayflower II, Plymouth Plantation, plenty of golf courses, the Colony Place outdoor shopping mall (it is quite lovely, with fine little boutiques), and tons of restaurants on the waterfront. Boston is always a stone’s throw away -- if you’re craving a night on the town to attend a ballet, symphony, or visit a museum. A Park & Ride train service (Kingston Train Stop) is just a three minute drive from our community. The train goes directly to Boston's South Station (no need to deal with infamous Boston traffic).

At our Hanson community, we offer the following assistance with move-ins if you or your loved one need help with the transition:
- A responsive move-in process: We can do an assessment of the space you or loved one is moving out of to estimate how long the move will take, and what sort of assistance is required. This step is helpful for individuals who have urgent care needs and must move into our community quickly by necessity.
- Short-term Respite Stays: We offer short-term stays for clients who need a temporary landing spot after a hospitalization or rehab stay.
- Expertise with Long Distance Moves: The much-researched search for the right community fit for you or your loved one is difficult enough, making a long distance move once you’ve found your home is even harder. Our services are designed for local families who need help moving a loved one across state lines. We also assist families who are not local with moving a loved one who has decided to live with us. All efforts are coordinated by our eldercare professionals with interested families to ensure a successful move and a positive transition.
